"Oh no! The Birthday threads have multiplied so much that they're spreading beyond the Cafe! Everybody get your guns!"
Settle down......I think this is a worthy celebration. The Legend of Zelda was first released in Japan for the Famicom on February 21, 1986. It's twenty years old!

The Zelda series has brought me much fun and amusement, as I'm sure it's brought you. Here's to another 20 years of great Ganon-goring goodness.

Ah yes Zelda, many many good memorable experiances, epic boss battles, excelent dungeons filled with puzzles and danger
all I have prettty much beaten like a red headed step child while using a sub atuomatic atomic grenade launcher that transforms into a giant metal god of fury and steel
except that 147 statue quest, that may burn in the many eternal fires of videogame hell
so Happy Birthday to all things Zelda, excpet to that 147 statue quest
Now hurry upand grace us with more non-147 Statue Quest goodness that we crave

What a coincidence. I just got cake for some unknown reason yesterday. I shall go eat it in the honor of 20 years of Zelda.

The Legend of Zelda is really rad,
The creatures from Ganon are pretty bad,
Octoroks, LikeLikes, and Leevers, too,
But with your help our hero pulls through!
Go Link, yeah save Zelda!
Wekke wekke wekke wekk!

i'd like to see that ad again, simply because of how cheesy it makes it funny..
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZELDA!!!! That goes to the characters in it. Zelda led a way in the gaming industry as a definate icon series. What timing for twilight Princess to come out, the same year of its 20th anniversary..

It depends on which one you're talking about.

It depends on which one you're talking about.
It also depends on the crisis of Infinate Hyrule scernerio that has been rumored

You should also smash a few earthenware pots looking for money, just as a shout-out to the later games in the series.
Does it seem to anyone else that Link is awfully lax in terms of respecting people or their property?

I have that commercial on my computer.
Oh and I never played a Zelda game in my life. I started playing the first one from the NES days but god it was hard and long to find the secret areas and etc.

I started playing the first one from the NES days but god it was hard and long to find the secret areas and etc. I rmember when I first played Zelda, I was around 5 or 6....and the concept of "no jumping" fil;led me with confusion and rage...
Years later I beat the original using an overworld map for the Zelda GC Compilation Collection
and to this day I hate how 2D link moved like a meat tank....

Yay! Happy birthday LOZ series!
Link: I feel so old...
Scorpion: I'm WAY older than you! (Scorpion is around 47 or 48 years old since he died at the age of 32)
Ganondorf: Who cares? I'm an old fart anyway!
Skarlet (me): I love you guys! (hugs)
All but Skarlet: Ahhh...we're crushed!
Sorry about that. I just can't wait til Twilight Princess comes out. :)
