Haré + Guu freezing problems?

This might just be my DVD player, but it seems as if Haré + Guu locks up when transferring chapters into an OP or ED. Furthermore, it only seems to happen when watching the English version, it plays smoothly when viewed in Japanese. I seem to recall a similar problem with other AN disks before (Miami Guns vol 1)

I tested this on my PS2 and it seemed to work just fine. Anyone else encountering this?

Hare+Guu seems to have the same multiple video track thing as Funimation's releases; however, AN Entertainment's the editing of the English video track is a little off. If you switch to the Japanese video track (hit japanese w/ subtitles in the language menu and it'll make the switch for the video track too,) it plays smoothly. Yeah, I don't get it either because personally, if I were going to do something like that, I'd make sure it was done right. It's probably my only beef with that release.

If this same freezing problem occurs for everyone, AN will need to address this problem and/or do a recall. Discs shouldn't freeze for anything.

They don't freeze from my experience, they are just poorly edited together for the English Language video track.

It could also be the DVD player, like I said, everything moved fine when I played it in my PS2. But may regular player is a Panasonic, not that PoS daewoo I had a few years back -__-
