Ugh. That scene was disgusting.

Will the rhino scene be edited? Let us see...

I like the part where he is in the car and acts like he's on a bumpy road lol...

Not sure about all of the edits, but one was the Rhino scene. They had the sounds but only showed the family's reaction, then showed Ace get up from the ground.

thats almost the exact same thing they do when it's showed on other networks as well.
I think they also have shortend the scene where he pulls the apple core out of the guys stomach in previous broadcasts.
i always liked the scenes about the guano, the slinky, and "shawshank redemption, ShicaaaaGO!" part and where he flips the car, lands and parks it upside down

here's what I remember. In the theater/VHS version, they show Ace attempting to get out of the robotic rhino, he manages to get out and falls unconscious, then cuts to the kid saying "Coool!". In the TV version, all footage of Ace attempting to get out of the rhino, then falls out unconscious was cut. But a new scene was added showing a naked Ace getting up, then walks away, then it cuts to the kid saying "Coool!".

So... What happens in the original rhino scene.... And how do they edit it?

I haven't seen the whole movie and I still didn't see all of it this time. What little I did watch had me going "I can't believe they're airing this on CN". Even stranger was that is aired at 11:30 and was bookended with the same episode of My Gym Partner...
They may have editted out some stuff, but they left it far more than should be shown during a time slot normally used by Tickle U. There were a few "damns", a "what the hell", a "bastard" and that whole virgin tribal girl thing.
The only part I saw that made me laugh was Ace "The White Devil".
The tribal witch doctor speaks
"What did he say"
"He called you a 'White Devil'"
The tribal witch doctor speaks
"He said..."
"Let me guess, 'White Devil, White Devil"
"Yes, you speak [the language]?"
"Translate for me: I'm Ave Ventura, I come in peace"
"I am the White Devil, I will harm you."
"You said [foreign word], did you refer to me as "White Devil"
"That is how they know you..."
I still can't believe they aired that.

I couldn't sit through the first one and the parts I saw of this made me cringe *shudder*
Sorry Jim Carrey lovers!! These are the WORST of his movies by far. All he does is make "funny" facial expressions.
They should show one of his good movies like Bruce Almighty or The Mask.

You know what's funny and sad about Ace Ventura's airing this week?
I'm just surprised at what they could get away with in the daytime, and it was a pretty adult movie with no disclaimers and no additional ratings describers (just TV-14, not TV-14 DSV). There is still no direction at Techwood Drive.
Also, I've had more laughs in those two hours than I did of the entire day's rerunathon COMBINED. Apparently, The Network's trying to remind themselves of what comedy used to be, because it's currently not in the current offering at the network.

Well, yeah, Bruce Almighty is a bit too mature for CN but the Mask is alright. It actually has something to do with cartoons unlike those Ace Ventura movies :ack::ack:

Here's an idea. Don't show live action movies at all. Somehow it seems to contradict something... perhaps the name: "cartoon network".
Call me crazy.
