What do you guys think? Is the art nice? Is the story promising? Would anybody actually buy this?

There are few Looney Tunes comics I don't like, but this one does not look like a winner. I don't like the way Carzon draws Daffy here. Porky looks okay, but Daffy seems way too...sloppy-looking. I largely prefer David Alvarez' version. The writing looks okay here, at least, they set up a plot well, but I don't like the reliance on the original "Dripalong Daffy". That's beating a dead horse, I have seen one or two other "Dripalong" stories by different artists and neither one impressed me. They're just redoing the original plot of an old film, whereas what makes other modern Looney Tunes comic stories so good is that they either take a familiar cartoon setup and run away with it in a totally original way, or they come up with entirely new plots and situations. I haven't seen the rest of the issue, even an issue with a lousy opener can have a classic toward the end. Anyway, this didn't impress me. I AM going to get a subscription to these soon, however, because they are NOWHERE to be found here in the Fort Worth area.
