Just so this doesn't get lost in the other thread: Does anyone know how Champloo is doing in the ratings on Wednesdays?

So who saw the premieres calendar? Venture Bros. has been delayed, but thankfully by only two weeks. Tom will now premiere on June 4th.

Hopefully that will be the only delay Venture gets. So who's the creator of that Death Metal show that's coming in September?

Yes, I wouldn't want to have The Venture Bros. kept from me too much longer. I lust for it!

DeathKlok is created by Brendon Small.

How so? I suppose the argument for Stoker & Hoop is that it turns away viewers from The Boondocks who might have stayed on through something more tolerable, or summat like that, but I am not familiar with how the faults of one night could be a malefactor for the other nights.

I never got why A-Dad and now appearently Futurama haven't done good at 10:00.

Yeah, I don`t see how saturday could affect other nights. O.o;;

anyway, not only has stroker never been a ratings winner, but it's cancelled. The two shows scheduled around it have beaten it every week. There's no reason to keep it there. If anywhere, have it at 1AM sundays instead of Booboo again. It should be Boondocks and venture, not Venture ans stroker..

We actually don't know if they haven't done well since all we see is the Top 3. They may be 4 and 5 for all we know with ratings close to the #3 show. Plus, it's the actual ratings that are important, not the positions in which the shows place.

Guess VB is going to be on Sunday, or was this always the case? Also, maybe Stroker will do better this week because they actually ADVERTISED IT.

Right now they have alot of shows ending. Between Boondocks, FMA, Samurai Champloo, Morel Orel, all running out of shows, they stretching out Boondocks as much as they can. Where are new Family Guy episodes? There are a couple FOX has shown but AS hasn't. I think that they're trying to make Boondocks last until Robot Chicken is ready to go.

Where are new Family Guy episodes? There are a couple FOX has shown but AS hasn't. With Sundays being busy recently due to football, Olympics, and the upcoming Oscar ceremony, Fox has only been airing one new Family Guy episode per month. Thus, to ensure a decent amount of "new to AS" episodes, William Street is probably waiting until things return to normal (i.e. new episodes of Family are airing on Fox weekly) before they start airing the more recent episodes of the show.

(other than Futurama of course)

Why doesn't AS just put Family Guy on Saturdays?
It always seems to bring in ratings by the truckload.

Why doesn't AS just put Family Guy on Saturdays?
It always seems to bring in ratings by the truckload. It might be because of FOX's fickleness. On one hand they don't want AS airing new episodes of FG the same night it premeires on FOX, which is ACTUALLY understandable, since they don't want people choosing between the airings, thus screwing the ratings on their channel-

-BUT on the other hand they have screwed with AS before, like promising to air VB on FOX for a few Sundays in return for AS not airing FG for awhile on Sundays, and then not doing it, saying they changed their minds a week beforehand and that they "forgot" to tell WS they changed their minds.

ALTHOUGH, if its not a decision of FOX's, maybe WS is trying to desperately get the Sat. block to work without the big "F's", like how they legitammally have tried to get an all action-block to work on multiple occassions and it doesn't work, and that this is an attempt to make it work without the F's. If that's the case, I'll give them credit, but the experiment failed long ago, I don't think many of us would be pissed if they stuck one or both of the big F's on there.

Or maybe WS is screwing up and they just don't want to admit that they need the Fox F's on Sat. They have been known to make mistakes by themselves, like replacing Boondocks with VB and not the ill-performing S&H (so much potential wasted), and of course how lots of their shows have not been all that great, or even good lately (there's been a few WS orinigals lately that have been decent, arguably, and the contracted Moral Orel is damn good.)

Actually, FOX was going to air VB ads, not the actual episodes. But yeah, FOX screwed them over either way.

Do you guys think that AS shouldn't be too dependant on the FOX shows. AS has kicked off with the two F's since 2003. There was a failed Home Movies attempt in the 11:00 PM hour that reverted back to Futurama almost right away. With Futurama leaving for Comedy Central down the road, Adult Swim will have to learn not to be dependant upon it. Boondocks is a great addition. If they can develop more good shows made specifically for them from outside sources, then they should be fine. But they have to prepare for worst case scenerio, which for them would be losing all the FOX shows to FX or Comedy Central. They just have to keep their options open.

Why is there a new (and funny) commercial for S&H on Sat. when its already been confirmed that won't be a second season? It was a funny commercial, and I like S&H, but we've already beated into the ground the fact it usually (always?) does poorly on Sat., so WHY? Why bother with wasting the airtime with the ads?

I mean, I guess I should probably congratuate them on sticking with their decision to have S&H on at Sat. 11:30, even if its flies in face of common sense...bah! I can't figure them out :p

They just have to keep their options open.True, and they have at times tried to get other shows to stand on their own, like opening Sat.'s in more recent times with Inuyasha, twice, and HM at 11:00 weekdays way back in the day. I'll give them credit for giving shows chances, like with S&H, but I think after been given plenty of time to prove itself, they should at least move S&H to later, like switch it with the better performing FMA, and either leave Boondocks at 11:00-

-or open it with OTHER WS-Oringal shows that have done well. That's it! That's the ticket! The answer to their ratings problem, and how we can stop sounding like whiny jerks by asking for the Big F's on Sat :p

Yeah, its been proven over the last year or so that Sat's will just NEVER be as good the rest of the week, but they KNOW some of their own shows, like ATHF or RC, whose premeires did NEARLY as well as FG and AD on Sun's, can be put there and bring in more ratings and avoid using FOX material. I don't care much for RC myself, but they've got enough to rerun for awhile and new ones coming soon.....although that could lead to oversatuation of RC on the schedule if they did it every day years from now. Maybe I've been talking too much and too loudly  ........well, they could always stick ATHF or HB there, they normally do good.

Hell, seeing as how the ratings suck so much, maybe they should just stick HM repeats at 11:30 instead and see if they do better :p Not going to happen, but I can dream.

So "Careers in Science" goes from a TV-14-DSV to a TV-MA, and finally ends up at a TV-MA-S. Let's see if we can add more arbitrary letters.

EDIT: For some talk about the actual episode, I'll say that for whatever reason I laugh whenever Hank and Dean exclaim "Phantom Space Man!"
