Nothing on God's green Earth, aside for that no-good Jar Jar Binks, can ruin the Star Wars franchise...
EXCEPT THIS!!!
According to IGN Filmforce, A Lucasfilm spokesman confirms that...
(Hold you breath, people.....)
That members of N'Sync will have cameos on the upcoming Star Wars Episode II!
What next? Britney Spears as one of Amidala's royal bodyguards?
IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT!!!
Here, I'll give you the data:

I'm not gonna worry about it yet. They may just get momentary in-the-background cameos. The sort where you won't know who they are unless you're looking for 'em (and if you are, then it's your own fault!)

Well, I recall having in that "Warner Academy 2" story the Warners (while in Murdoch's lair, with access to the entire News Corp. conglomerate's files) "accidentially" deleting Jar Jar Bink's CGI/computer files....which still doesn't make me feel any better about two more film's worth of someone who sounds like a cross between someone doing a bad imitation of Bob Marley and something a couple of notches away from an NAACP protest ;-)

Liked how the comic strip "The Boondocks" ripped into Jar Jar...

At this point, I'm just hoping that the "Attack of the Clones" title doesn't refer to multiple boy bands.

Or more than one Jar Jar....

'NSync gets KILLED in their small scene, so that is a good thing. If Jar Jar got killed, that would be two good reasons to see the film...
Goodness, stop overreacting. They'll only be in the background, POSSIBLY KILLED, and won't have a single line. 2 seconds. And their will only be three of them (Lance, Chris, and Joey) according to recent rumours. It's no big deal. It's not like they're stars of the movie...

Just the fact that they're actually *in* the movie is pretty shocking. Though perhaps them getting killed will have a positive effect on some children's views of pop stars. :D

No kidding :-) (Aren't those boy bands' 15 minutes of fame up yet? Apparently not...)

Origin of the cartoon quote in question was the mid-80's Daffy Duck outing "The Duxorcist" (which was used in "Quackbusters")

I say it's an excellent opportunity for Jar Jar to prove himself and beat the crap (is there anything else in 'em?) outta NSync.

Hey, if they then ALL get killed in that scene...THAT would be worth shelling out admission alone. :D
I still think it's sad that Lucas bowed down to pop culture. 20 years from now, most people will be saying "who...?" to these guys in that scene. -_-
