I should have bought that copy that Gamestop was holding for two weeks for me. Shame I never has cash.

It's only been at least 6 or so months after it's released and it's price has been jacked up to an astronomically high price for DS standards?

It's been out of print for a while now. But it's cool if they're really going to do another run.

Hey you know what I just thought
Being that PW is a capcom game, it hasn't yet been ported to other systems in america like all the other capcom games. I mean all of their game series have been cross platform, Megaman, Viewtiful Joe, Resident Evil, Dino Crisis, Street Fighter, Gouls and Ghosts(getting a remake ala Megaman X Maverick and was also on Capcom Classics), Final Fight, The Capcom vs Series, to name a few.
I yearn for the day of Realistic Looking Pheonix Wright on a console, I mean Tekken pulls off otherworldly hairstyles in realistic setting very well(i.e. Paul's battering ram dou), it would certainly be a sight to behold. This would also mean more PW games, and I don't care what they're on as long as we get more.

We would all enjoy that, but Capcom can be lazy from time to time with things like this. Look at Mega Man X7.

But look how many M<egaman games preceeded X7
it takes that long for something to begin to suck

The point stands though that other than the MMLegends series, capcom didn't really even try with their first 3D Mega Man X game. That made me sad when I got it.

Phoenix Wright really doesn't belong on a console.... way the game's formatted it's perfect for pick up and play handheld goodness. At any point in the story, coversation, cross-examining or the investigation I'm able to save my game and stop.
It's a point and click mystery and just wouldn't need all the extra money to unnecessarily animate gesturing into 3D

Exactly. Capcom has grasped the concept of a game made for a portable.

I yearn for the day of Realistic Looking Pheonix Wright on a console<snip>
Why?
It could be done, but the cartooney style fit the stories, mood, action, et cetera. I just don't see a huge precedent for this to be done. *shrugs*
It's a point and click mystery and just wouldn't need all the extra money to unnecessarily animate gesturing into 3D
I rather think Nintendo could further the girl audience and have Her Interactive port the Nancy Drew point & click mysteries over to the DS.
Gad, there are so many older games that would be brilliant in this format.
Why isn't Lucas Arts getting into this? Huh? HUH?!?!

The Lucasarts we once knew anyway...Yeah it's no longer a developer in it's own right, just a distributor for fourth party software.

LucasArts is mutating back into a good developer as we speak, actually. They are internally developing several announced titles.
