Timmy doesn't hate Tootie. He just thinks she's slighty creepy and finds her obession with him a bit scary, but he does have sympathy for her having to live with Vicky. I'd say they'll become an item when they're teenagers or young adults.

Well, Buster hangs out with Plucky and Hamton, Babs hangs out with Shirley and Fifi, Buster and Babs are love interests, Plucky and Shirley are love interests, it's just natural for Hamton and Fifi to be love interests. But I'm mostly just following what other TTA fans have done in the past by pairing Hammy and Fifi. [/quote]

I agree with this. C & W were probably my faves after Homer and Marge. Then Butch Hartman got all "edgy" on us and decided the affection between them had to go because he wanted his show to be more "adult". Which only revealed that he has no idea what that means. What a schmuck. :mad:

You sure you're naming your actual favorites, or are you just listing every couple you can think of while leaving out some notable exceptions (early version of Cosmo and Wanda for instance, not to mention Pepe Le Pew and that unnamed cat he was always chasing)?

Fry and Leela are cool. But Timmy and Tootie? Uh uh. Nothing there but unrequited love, which can be funny at first, but boring later on (at least in the hands of Butch Hartman. In the hands of the truly gifted, like Chuck Jones, the one-sided chase can be riotous; see reference to Le Pew above).

Well, I would name some but I don't wanna make a huge list and most of the ones I like are either obvious or way-out... I'll reply to a couple of the snippets of this post I've skimmed over, though, and say:

Fifi and Hampton? Makes sense, the only other guys i could see her doing anything with (though it has been FOREVER since I've seen TTA) would be that blue cat I love so much, the Sylvester spinoff, Furball I believe his name was (but he doesn't really talk much from what I remember).

Cyborg and Jinx? Screw that, Cyborg and Bumblebee makes more sense (not just because of their race, I mean the attitude/personality) and Kid Flash is the one who made Jinx pull the ONLY huge, serious, for-more-than-one-episode CHANGE in TT history I know of.

Oh, I'll throw out one anyway-- Arnold and Helga. If the series continued, since that shrink episode where Helga pretty much made it clear that she's NEVER going to fully go through with the admittance, I'd like to see Arnold himself finally fall back for her and her have no defense or reason to hide it anymore.

Curious thing about Fifi. It seems like she only smells whenever it's needed to advance the plot, where ol' Pepe just pretty much always reeks.
