I like the fact that it looks just like the animated series and they used the same voice actors. The only things I didn't like was that there was not enough of Bats Rogues Gallery and puzzles. Other than that, I enjoyed this game very much.

I haven't completely played through the game. I'm stuck on the gasworks, cause I'm stupid...but I think it's rather good. It's not too fustrating and the play control is done well, with bosses who are interesting.
HOwever, is it just be or is the fighting system just sort of stupid? I can't really figure a way to dodge bullets, and fighting seems more of a hassle than something I want to do.
Otherwise it's one of the best Batman games that have come out for any system, and worth it if you're a Batman fan. Dont' konw if I'd recommend it to too many others though.

The Game

I love it. It's in my top ten PS2 games of 2001, and it plays magnificently.
The missions are fun and can get very challenging. I too love the fact that it is done in the animated Batman style, and includes the original voices, but my favorite thing about the game would have to be the story. It is interesting and plays out like a DTV movie or something with loads of twists. Very cool.

Hehe, yeah fighting can get annoying but once you get the hang of it, it's actually pretty fun. It's like having a fighting game inside an adventure game. My best tip for you: don't waste a move. Same goes for any fighting game (biiiiig obsession with Marvel vs Capcom, that's where this comes from in case you were wondering :p). You waste a move you leave yourself open. And same goes for the other guy. :)
Worse comes to worse just wail on him with a few electric batarangs before the initial fight. That'll take his energy down a tinch. And running around dodging bullets is annoying but it takes practice. I've actually gotten pretty good dodging, AND switching quick to first person mode to knock the gun out of their hand with a batarang.
I'm talking from the Gamecube perspective by the way (which I believe has one or two animations and movies that the PS2 version doesn't by the by :p). My only complaint is the game should have been longer. I would have killed for more! I finished it too. I got an 89. I'm a B+ Batman! Not bad, considering how I stink at the batmobile board! I'm getting better though....I think.

I've got the PS2 version, and I love it. While the gameplay could have been a bit more user friendly, the atmosphere alone more than makes up for it. I love the voice acting, and the cut scenes, and I feel the game was well worth the cash. I just hope that they release more games in the animated style in the future!

I love, love , love the cinemas. I'm not done with the game yet, but Joker falling from the bridge, the defeat of Mr. Freeze & Poison Ivy- this is just spectacular stuff. I pity people who are fans of the show who may never get to see this .
And yeah, I've found the gameplay enjoyable throughout, and the atmosphere very good as well.
But those cinemas- I want a sequel so bad, just to see characters like Two-Face, Catwoman, Penguin, Riddler, Clayface, Scarecrow, Scarface, Roxy Rocket- heck, everybody- get this treatment.

one of the best things about it is the cinematics..but my favorite thing:
The game itself. It's the best Batman game to date...and it's just sweet.... :)
