Actually, it's call the Thunder Claw attack. Funi somehow messed up the name. Doesn't really matter since it was filler anyway.

That episode rocked! I was happy that Goku beat the overconfident Pikkon using his wits, and not his strength, proving that brawn is not everything.
For those of you who missed the showdown between Goku and Pikkon in the otherworld tournament, Goku was getting his butt kicked by Pikkon's Thunder Flash attack, and Pikkon was about to finish Goku off with a third Thunder Flash Attack, but that was his mistake. Goku realized Thunder Flash Attack's weakness- that the attacker's sides and back were open to attack. So Goku finished the tournament by teleporting to Pikkon's side and surprising him with a Kamehameha attack wile Pikkon was doing his Thunder Flash Attack, knocking Pikkon out of the ring.

I got a question-
The Grand Kai says that he will give Goku and Pikkon a lesson after about 200 years. He is out of shape and he wants to sharpen up before he starts teaching so Goku and Pikkon don't surpass him.
So, my question is: Does Goku have the lesson before he goes back to Earth?
And if so, what new stuff does he learn?

And he learns SSJ3 during the lesson with the Grand Kai?
Or does he learn that by himself?

A technique that allows two persons to merge into one!

No, first of all, those were filler episodes they NEVER happened. It was also never said how Gokou learned to go SSJ3.

What were filter episodes?
Will we ever get to know what he learned from the Grand Kai? Or did the Grand Kai teach him fusion?

What were filter episodes?
The Afterlife tournament, the Garlic Jr. Saga, some of the episodes during the Saiya-Jin Saga, and all of the movies.

I can't remember who it was, I don't think it was said where he learned it from.

Well, DBZ is based on a comic book in Japan that was written by Akira Toriyama(sp?). Most of the Dragonball and DBZ episodes were taken from the Manga(Japanese Comic Book) except for these filler episodes. From what I understand, over there cartoons run pretty much simultaneously with the comic book. So these filler eps are put out so the cartoon doesn't get ahead of the manga and spoil it for the readers. The point is that they weren't written by Toriyama and most fans don't feel like they are up to the quality of the rest. I pretty much have to agree. That Garlic Jr. saga stunk!
Anyway, a really good all things Dragonball site is www.planetnamek.com it will tell you all you never wanted to know about DBZ.

This is a link to website that explains why alot of people (including myself) hate Funi and what they have done to DBZ.

This is the only thread I have EVER seen where more than 3 users have called Paikuhan by his dub name: Pikkon. Same goes for Dai Kaio-sama (aka Grand Kai).
FUNi is basically stupid. Except for Blue Gender. They did good on that one. Seems Williams Street doesn't like BG though, so don't expect it on tv. (Who would? The story itself sucks.)
