It's high time we get another game show based around Carmen Sandiego. The thought came over me when I realised how terrible most programing is for the younger demographic. Almost any show based around education was poorly exicuted. Which got me thinking about growing up with Carmen Sandiego. Growing up with the games and all three shows, I've become very fond of this franchise. In the end I was learning a lot about different cultures, world history, and science. So why not make another one for our current auidence? The plots behind the game shows were simple to come up with and were better than a majority of Nick's game shows.

For those who don't remember or don't know what I'm talking about, kids would have to solve puzzles based on world history or geography depending on the theme for the show (where in the world/time). The prizes were nicer than other shows ranging from a trip around North America to a new computer. Of course to get those grand prizes they had to catch Carmen and they made it challenging enough for contestents not to do that every time.
For the new version they could hire some people to do the theme song and give out clues during the show like Rockapella use to do. Next snag up a somewhat popular comedian to be the host. That way he/she could attract a larger auidence. It would be hard to find a replacement for Lynne Thigpen, but then again they need a strong actor like Lynne to play the Chief. And they could probally get HP or Dell to sponsor them to give out a PC with a copy of the recent Carmen Sandiego game. Not only will kids have fun and get some neat prizes, but we can once again have an educational show which is entertaining for everyone.
