Just signed it. I'm not going to repeat my rant about Superman's raw deal here, but, if you care, it's posted on the Superman DVD thread on the DVD board.

I hate to be a devil's advocate, as those that know me would know I would die for a BB DVD, and especially a Superman set. But don't you think we're being a *bit* greedy. I definetly think we need to pick and choose our battles here. Let's see here, we petioned WB for Batman Beyond: ROTJ uncut, and also for BTAS on DVD. From their point of view, they've already stuck their neck out on a line and are releasing these.

Personally, I think the *best* way to encouage WB to make BB/STAS DVD's is to buy the ones that come out on April 23rd. If all that we're saying is true, well then those DVDs should sell through the rough. If not, well then we were wrong. If BTAS/BB:ROTJ, and the rest of the DVDs DO sell and are insanely popular, and a STAS/BB dvd sets don't follow, then I think we should petition.

Actions speak louder than words. Not that I don't agree with you guys, but I really think we're starting to sound whiny. Let's show WB we mean it with our $$$, before we ask them for more stuff :)

Also I don't know about you but on April 23rd, my wallet is being drained. I don't need another DVD set released for a while :)

but hey, I'll sign the petition anyway, just wanted to know what all you guys thought.

I am aware Warner pays more attention to sales numbers than fan demands thats why I will not be sending this petition until the end of April, and its not greed when they own 2 of the best cartoons ever made and neglect them, we are just trying to get the shows the respect they deserve, and plus it helps WB realize what would sell well because they are too stupid to know how to do anything without fans telling them what to do everytime, and half the time they don't even listen :p

I don't think there are many people on the boards who won't be buying the upcoming DVDs. This petition will just add to the encouragment. I mean, we've had a lotta success before with these (don't know if the petitions are the exact reason we're seeing the DVDs, but I like to think it is :D ).

I dont think we're being too greedy. WB has to know the demand is out there before they'd think about releasing DVDs for STAS and BB. If it werent for everyone's clamoring for BTASS on DVD, WB may never have given it to us. All this petition is, is a little notice to WB that there are people who are interested.
