Initial Thoughts of Tonight's Episode:

Alright after watching A Touch of Paine I can see how Part 2 of The prvious Episode A Paine By Any other Name, Ties into this one.. Apparently the effects of the Detonation of The Sonic Disruptor in that previous ep ties into this one quite nicely as Paine Now has a New power (one that leaves his Victims reeling from pain)...

The Story flowed nicely and the Action and Adventure really got good in the first half, Blowing up the Donut Shop was a laugh as we see King rant about how Paine's little stunt really left him ticked!

and Cat Leone (aka Lioness) getting the First Taste of Paine's New Powers on her Head really was a major bummer..

(and is it me or is Axel Starting to think of Cat Leone (Lioness) as "More then a Sister?" Can we say, "Here come the 'Shipping'?"

Spyder was a laughable joke tonight, and couldn't fight to save his soul, and the Cannonball Twins?.. they added a bit of comedy to the show but in the end, showed they werre such a minor threat.

I think the real point of the episode was to Show that Cat (Lioness) may be a 'tough girl' but she does have some fears and It's the fear that she may not be seen as the "Tough Girl" Image (By the guys), that shows us that this show does take a look at the Human side (and the Comment by "Hawk" proved it)..

In the End, a great episode, and in faact This Episode was a Step up from the previous two.. I give A Touch of Paine an 8 out of 10, as this episode didn't Disappoint. It actually shows that this show is viable and in fact Is a Major force in the Jetix block right up there with Get Ed.

This was the first time I saw this show and I have to say it's pretty good.

Eh...I think I'll pass. While I really like the aesthetics, the show feels too much like The Batman for me--superficial, and trying waaaaay too hard to be hip. Plus, the cartoon effects look waay out of place.

As for the episode, it wasn't too bad. I could have done without the circus acrobats and Paine's new power, though. And none of the characters have proper motivations yet, which bugs.

In any case, 2.5 out of five.

I can't really do banners, but I did find this picture of the team online that somebody could probably use to create a banner: http://www.noblepr.co.uk/Press_Releases/sanctuary/images/atom/ss9.gif
