pokemon going strong I guess they were happy to see Mew again (now when will we get to?) but thats a very distance second to the #1 movie :(
Well, Howl's Moving Castle is, I believe, the highest grossing movie in Japan (I know it's in the Top 5), which explains how far it is from #2. Remember, it IS Miyazaki.

Spirited Away is #1 in Japan. Prior to this year the Top 3 was Spirited Away, Mononoke, and Titanic. I'm not sure if Howl's passed Titanic or not.

Well, it's an early Battle Frontier movie, so we shouldn't see it until late spring/early summer. But, given how early "Destiny Deoxys" came out over here, I'd say it's anyone's guess as to when we'll see the Lucario movie on US shores.
With Pokemon Ranger coming out so soon for the gba/ds we might see an earlier release, even if they have nothing to od with each other.
I wonder how much a Pokemon movie could do if released nationwide again, hopefully with Nintendo in charge we'll see it happen. Of course we wouldn't get near the first movie numbers but i think it could do decent and show to to the world (again) how Pokemon is still a force.
