Well inspired by the "most forgetable" series I descided to do one on eps that where in my opinion underated.

1. Prophecy of Doom: This thing was so awesome I loved it, took the whole mystic thing and just twisted it around. Plus the whole way Bruce infiltrated the cult (cool)

2. Almost got em: great look into the villans personal lives, and thoughts. plus "I threw a rock at him" can't argue with a line like that.

3. Holiday nights: Good ep IMo, interesting to see how they brought out the new art. Kinda took some time for me t get use to though.

I never considered Almost Got 'Im an underrated episode. Why? becuase it's one of the best episode made, and it's actually one of those episode that fans use to compare BTAS to TNBA. It was one of the most crticialy acclaimed episodes of the series.

I agree Almost Got'im is a gem one of the best animated episodes ever it's well on my top five favorites BTAS. As for Prophecy Of Doom that was a well underated episode that did'nt get the attention it deserved

Moderator or not, you will all most likely kill me once I share my underrated picks.

Many people dismiss Showdown because it didn't have enough Batman. Y'know, a non-Gotham city setting and all. But if we looked at as just a 22 minute short instead of a Batman episode, I bet more people would love it. Smart writing, great animation, and really cool characters. (Plus I thought the action Batman and Robin has was really cool, just short is all.)

The Forgotten. That's odd, I thought one of the things we loved most about BTAS was how Batman could make an excellent episode, even though it didn't have any Batman villains in it. This episode ranks with Showdown as far as story and animation, and has some excellent scenes (Batman chasing jerks through the dark mine, Alfred's detective work and fight with the Batwing computer, Bruce regaining his memory).

Speaking of villain-less episodes. I saw P.O.V. on a worst episode list in another thread. I have the same things to say about this episode that I do the three above, with the exception that the story is highlighted to the utmost in this one. It wasn't just how cool the story was, it was how they showed it to us.

Those are the strongest three off the top of my head. But there have been more. Batman, Superman and Beyond alike.

I simply can't understand why so many dislike CAT SCRATCH FEVER I loved this episode. Catwoman was awesome, Batman was awesome and kicked butt. It had everything even the ugly red headed woman got punished and I loved to see that.

Besides this episode really showed that Batman had feelings for Selina.

"Almost Got 'Im" is one of my all-time faves, so I agree with DG. It's not underrated in my opinion, it gets the attention it deserves. :)
"Holiday Knights" was good. I think it would've been better if they included the Mr. Freeze story from the comic version it was based on, though.
I liked "Prophecy of Doom" too. The finale with the huge model of the solar system rocked. I do think that it could've had better animation, though.
"Showdown" IS one of the most underrated shows, I agree with Nightwing. I typically don't like "westerns", but this one was pretty cool. It added a lot to Ra's Al Ghul's character. Awesome twist ending. And of course, the legendary Elizabeth Montgomery did the voice of the barmaid.
"P.O.V" is definately one of those episodes you forget about how good it is until you see it again. Great character interactions. And I loved hearing Bullock slanted narration of the events.
"The Forgotten" was a good change of pace. The music is probably some of the most distinguishable of the series. And ya gotta love the scenes with Alfred. :)
As for my own picks for 'Most Underrated Episode':
"On Leather Wings" is one of the best animated and drawn episodes ever! It's got interesting characters, and a cool plot. Too bad people often overlook it.
"Day of the Samurai". I really liked this episode. Cool fight scenes and plot. I liked the 'touch of death' thing. And the close-up of Bruce's face when Kyodai uses it on him is awesome. Reminded me of some of the Fleischer "Superman" cartoons.
I can't remember the last time I heard anyone mention "Cape and Cowl Conspiracy". Just an cool episode. Cool villain. Cool schtick. And a cool twist ending to boot.
"Heart of Steel" especially looked like some of the classic Fleischer "Superman" shorts. It introduced us to HARDAC, had neat robots, and a cool femme fatale (my favorite kinda villain. :)). It reminded me a cool 50's sci-fi/horror movie. Particularly "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (rent it if you've never seen it.) Plus, it spotlighted Barbara Gordon. All around good episode.

My fav eps...although they may not be underrated...

The Underdwellers I *think* that's the name, anyway. I just loved that episode, although the little "guns are bad" thing turned me off just a bit. That aside, I loved the humor about Alfred trying to get Frog to take a bath. As well, it also finally showed what the comics always would make blatantly clear--Batman does *NOT* like people hurting/exploiting children. "I don't pass sentence. That's for the courts. But *this* time...this time, I am *sorely* tempted to do the job myself!" Great ep.

The Forgotten Yes, this episode rocked the house. "Land you bucket of bolts!" "Your funeral." :) Loved the episode. For everything Nightwing said above.

A Bullet for Bullock This may not be underrated, but I don't often hear about it. This was an outstanding episode, with bits of humor to lighten the mood somewhat. "What are you doing for New Years?" "Same thing I did for Christmas. My laundry." Also, there was a hint of a thing between Summer Gleason and Bullock, God only knows *why* though...wierd pair, if ya ask me. :) Also, the twist ending with Nibbins being the guy was really cool. "So...I guess I uh, owe you for this." "Forget it. You got enough problems."

Actually, I loved all the BTAS episodes, even "The Moon and the Wolf" or something like that, arguably the worst BTAS ep ever made. But I thought it was funny. "Do me a favor Shaggy, stay down!" >breaks the 2x4< "Guess not." >shrugs< I'm wierd like that. :D Well, take my opinion for what you will. :)

Whoa, that was Adam West's voice? I didn't know he made a voice appearance on BTAS. That's pretty cool. I'm glad I got that episode on tape. I like how Batman incorperates the past with the new. That's what makes Batman so cool. They don't forget the legends.

Actually, that episode is on video. It's simply labeled BATMAN.
