Running every Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Saturday (Feb. 1, 8, 15 & 22), Scooby's All-Star Laff-a-Lympics features more than 45 favorite Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters competing in a wide variety of sporting events in search of a Laff-A-Lympic gold medal. The program, television's first-ever two-hour animated series (1977-80), presents three teams that match wits and signature gags on a playing field of slapstick humor.

The cast of characters is completed by ace announcers, Snagglepuss and Mildew Wolf, who narrate the action and slow-motion instant replay, often serving to uncover and foil the sneaky tricks of the Really Rottens.
