YES.

We have another winner this week, folks. Jack is unstoppable this year! Now he's telling off the President of the United States to his face. Looks like he'll be coordinating things from Logan's retreat until there's some on-site work that needs his personal attention.

Go Aaron! He's done the right thing time and again regardless of how many years he might have to serve in a federal prison.

Go Bill! Telling off his younger superior and saying "screw this!" to a presidential order. I was kind of enjoying the thought of the entire LA CTU being a rogue agency for a little while, but I guess there are some things that are too unrealistic even for this show. Actually, maybe after today some CTU agents should join Jack underground and make their own above-the-law crimefighting unit. THE A-TEAM! Wait, that's taken. THE J-TEAM! No, that's taken too...

Mrs. Logan is really messed up. Her husband pulls her out of the frying pan in the nick of time and tells her everything she wanted to hear. Too little, too late. I don't think we've seen the last of her. The prez, on the other hand, is so freaking gullible I'd like to see Jack start pulling his strings. "Get me a pardon. Now get me a fully-armed tac team. Now get me a beer." Too bad Jack is too much of a good guy for that kind of abuse of Bauer Power.

Jack thought Mike had betrayed him. Not really that far-fetched considering what happened in Day 2, not to mention Mike's been working for the other party for two years. Hope we see him back next week.

President Logan fails at being a president and at being a husband. One day, he hopes to fail at being a father.

I loved seeing Jack go FREAKING NUTS on Cummings. That was intense. But I hated Audrey. And I have no prior reason to, since I just started watching this season. But I kinda think this love story thing has to take a rest, especially when Jack is driving to a top-secret and incredibly important meeting.

Jack should've used his cellphone to blow her cellphone up.
Or, he could've pulled one of these:

"Uhh, Audrey, KSSSSHHHHHHH there are terrorists here, I can't keep KSHHHHHHHH TATATATATATATATATA oh no they've got guns, KABOOOOOM, a bomb! Gotta go, talk to ya later!"

Pretty good Season so far. I like the way Jack was going to torture Cummins. I don't blame Mrs. Logan for being pissed at her husband for not only believing her but did nothing when it was suggested to send her back to the crazy house. Why do I have a feeling that the other person in that penthouse is

Don't Read if you don't want to know

Kim. Just because I heard she is suppose to be back next week

You know the way Cummings outlines his plan to Logan I wonder if he's part of the Trepkos/oil company cabal from season 2.

I bet Logan sits down when he pees. The guy has neither the resolve, nor the...anything else to be president. Walt straight punked him into going along with his chaotic plan. And low and behold look how it pulled a Roger Stanton and backfired. Really wouldn't have been pretty if Jack wouldn't have been so damn hectic. Speaking of which, the near carving out the eye thing was the highlight. Just...yes. Jack's history with interrogating people has been spot-on. I can't remember him not breaking someone.

Agreeing with just about everyone about Audrey. I knew this would happen, but bah. Let her go home or something.

Advancement was good this episode, seems as though things are about to take a change for the worse with this [apparent] new addition to the terroists plans.

When Jack threatened Cummings' eyeball I closed my eyes, worried that Jack was actually going to carve it out on network TV. I'm basing this on the shishkebab he gave to that guy's throat last week--that was rather graphic.

All moles are gone, on both sides, this early in the game? That can't be. If the last five minutes of this episode had been cut out, it could have sufficed as the ending. All that setup disappeared as suddenly as it was built.

Wimpo has blown it with his wife. I don't see how she could ever forgive this. I predict she'll file the first Presidential Divorce within the day.

But.....the head that was rising above the bed had BLACK hair. I thought it looked like Tony, though I suppose when you think about it that makes no sense.

If it's Kim, then Cuthbert made a bad decision going brunette.

I liked the fake-out at the end. All the rectangle thingies started gathering and I assumed the episode was over, but then the phone call came and threw a little more into the mix.

Awesome.

I was actually surprised Jack and Pierce had never met before, considering they're one of the few people to have been in all five seasons, I could have sworn they met before.

Loved Jack's little torture for Cummings. " You read my file. First I'll take out your right eye, then your left, then I cut around the face, and keep cutting you until you tell me what I want to know."

Great episode, Jack is his usual badass self and the "Patriot" angle is a nice story. Hopefully there is more of that when the terrorists get captured or whatknot.

Is there any reason to wonder if Cummings' "smoking gun" story he gave the Prez is nothing more than a ruse -- and that he was in this much deeper than just pulling an Ollie North?

Because that would make two guys in the terrorists' food chain -- the CTU guy to Cummings and then Cummings to the terrorists -- who were worked into thinking they were doing the 'right thing.'

So Cummings was fully aware of the terrorists real agenda, he just thought he was smarter then them.

I was actually surprised Jack and Pierce had never met before, considering they're one of the few people to have been in all five seasons, I could have sworn they met before. It's very likely Jack met Aaron at the end of Day 1 (around 11:45pm). To them, that was over seven years ago. Jack probably knew of Aaron while he worked at the DoD as well, so his name and face might have been more fresh in his mind.

Good to see Jack and Aaron go in there after Cummings and shake him up right in front of the "our" nation's wussiest President. Cummings was pretty much doing a coup d'état and I'm glad Aaron was able to call it protecting the President. I can't believe Walt was in on a former president being killed for this plan. I was glad to see Logan grow a bit of a spine and send Walt on his way.

Well I like Audrey better than any other love interest Jack has had (maybe even his wife). You guys don't have to put up with a lot because of the real time format, but a less intense moment about Jack's personal life shouldn't hurt you.

I hate seeing Bill get pushed around by Lynn so it was great seeing him push back and convince him of something. It wasn't needed in the end, but for a time there it looked like it would be.

So Cummings was fully aware of the terrorists real agenda, he just thought he was smarter then them.Usually a mistake and it was here. You may be smarter, but the second you start acting like it, things seems to fall apart.
