Lend me your ears and eyeballs, it's time for a New Fresh Question! Click those thinking caps into high gear.

I don't know about you, but my list of favorite big screen actors comes from the frequency of their appearance in my favorite movies, as well as the job they do in them. Nick Cage and the likes of National Treasure and Con Air come to mind. It easy to find an actor on the list when it hits you that he or she is in like a zillion of your favorite movies. With that said, tell me:

What are two (or more?) of your favorite movies with the same actor in them?? Why??

well... an obvious choice for me:

Tom Cruise

All the Right Moves
Top Gun
Days of Thunder
Vanilla Sky
The Last Samurai
Jerry Maguire
Far and Away

and not the movies themselves, but his roles in:

War of the Worlds
Collateral
Cocktail
Born on the Fourth of July

He just seems to always be in character perfectly. For lack of a better description, when he acts a part, it just feels real. Either he naturally has an expressive personality or he knows how to "become" someone else. He's not Tom Cruise as this character, he IS this character... to me at least. As a contrast, I would mention Tom Hanks who, though a great actor, has some noticeable Tom Hanks-like mannerisms that are present in all of his characters. But maybe I just like him because as a kid I loved Top Gun and Days of Thunder.
