Ok,this may surprise you but I live in London, and on Cartoon Network UK I have seen many 'unedited' cartoons on programs like 'Toonheads' and 'Tom And Jerry' etc!
Here are a FEW of the unedited cartoons I've seen so far- If you want more e-mail or message me. To find out what the cuts I saw were go to http://www.toonzone.net/looney/ltcuts/
Tom And Jerry-Casanova Cat,Kitty Foiled,Mouse In Manhattan...
Warner Brothers-Daffy Duck and Egghead,The Hasty Hare,Fresh Hare......
Anyone interested?

You're sh**ing me!! "Fresh Hare" is broadcast un-cut?

The whole scene at the end (Everyone turns blackface) is broadcast in full!

BTW today scenes in 'Ain't that ducky' 'The Big Snooze' 'The Ducksters' 'Peck Up Your Troubles' 'Rabbit Hood' were seen uncut (I'm using the http://www.toonzone.net/looney/ltcuts/ guide, hoping that none of the scenes mentioned have recently been restored in North America)
Don't think that all the cartoons on Cartoon Network UK are unedited-I have seen some edits, like Bugs mysteriously mouthing something, yet no words coming out his lips in the background!

The Ducksters is uncut in the USA.

The cartoon you're thinking of with Bugs mouthing something. It was edited when it was released in theaters.

How about Toy Trouble, with it's blackface dancing band? Is that shown uncut in America? (It isn't here BTW)

Nope, I've never seen that unedited, come to think of it.

Jon's censored cartoons page (which you've already found) is very accurate when it comes to the editing. It's just that Cartoon Network is the only place on American television (outside of local stations that sometimes play public domain cartoons) that airs Looney Tunes. All other networks that are listed can be ignored (taken more as historical accounts of how they edited the cartoons when they were allowed to show them).

Yes, but remember that Nickelodeon, when they had Looney Tunes, edited out the "You'll Be Sorry!" scene when Daffy shoots at an audience member.

Thank goodness CN had a little sense in keeping the whole cartoon intact, though there are so many other holes elsewhere.

Does Cartoon Network UK air any Speedy Gonzales cartoons? Here in the United States, Speedy has been banned from CN.

Yes they do,as much as the usual run. Banning Speedy is madness-why did they do that? Racial stereotype?

Yes -- reportedly Ted Turner decided to make himself patron saint of all Mexican Americans in the United States, and decided that they didn't like the stereotype of Speedy chasing girls all the time or some of the lazy Mexican mice or cats in several of the cartoons.

All of the Mexican Americans I've ever mentioned the Speedy ban to (when I can work it into a general conversation) think it's moronic to ban the cartoons at all. I don't know if Ted found some Speedy-phobic person down near his ranch in New Mexico or if he came up with this idea on his own, but except for occassional showings before sunrise, the ban is still in effect even with Turner out of regular day-to-day work at AOL Time Warner.

I heard that the UK airs "His Mouse Friday" unedited. Is that true?

I'm not sure, but on a recent trailer in the UK promoting Tom And Jerry (A montage of his AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!s) one of the 'AHHH!!!'s is from 'His Mouse Friday' so I'll have to watch Tom And Jerry everyday on Boomerang to see if I can find that cartoon. It's likely they do though.

Yes,suicide scenes are shown in full.

I'll have to watch Toonheads regulary and i'll tell you some censored Cartoon Network US scenes that I see. (And hopefully Southern Fried Rabbit will be there) Although it's gonna be shortened to half an hour tomorrow in the UK :(

BTW,does anyone else have the video 'Bugs Bunny's World Of Television'? Some good stuff on there, including the whole 'You Beat Your Wife' segment from Wideo Wabbit. It says on http://www.toonzone.net/looney/ltcuts/ltcutsu-z.html that 'All CN showings prior to 2001 were uncut.' so I gather it's only been edited out recently in the USA.
