Captain Marvel(Shazam) vs. Superman, who would win?

I don't know too much on Captain Marvel, but I hear he's a powerhouse. My question is, who would win in a fight, him or Superman?

I've always wondered how Batman would take down Captain Marvel. He can't use Kryptonite, and he can't just stun him and then knock him out like human.

Well, sensory overload is one possibility ( and a personal favorite of mine ). Another is basically to observe him until he reverts to Billy Batson, then take him out while he's mortal. A third, albeit VERY dangerous possibility, is to intercept the mystic lightning when he tries to change into Captain Marvel. It requires extraordinary willpower, but it is possible for another to transform into Captain Marvel in this way. Lastly, if the entire Marvel Family is there, trick them into activating their powers simultaneously, rendering all three weaker than normal. Then, just follow up with massive explosions and such, which should KO them all.

I think Batman would Kidnap Billy Batson, or just mess with Marvels mind, psychologically release his inner child.


I would like to think Superman can beat Marvel. They try to dumb down his powers all they want these day's, BUT the guy is Still moving planets, well basically the moon, in every other issue, So I give it to Supes. And Basically, Im going to give it to him because, I think he has the best over all Knowledge of how to be a SuperPowered being. Who's going to beat him at his own game?

I agree with Dark Phoenix ....Captain Marvel did hand Supes a good thrashing in Kingdom Come but come on.....Superman would kick his Shazam azz from here to the Fortress of Solitude.
