Can you imagine what it would be like if ALL of the Warner Bros. cartoons were redrawn -- even the ones from the post-1948 era? The characters and backgrounds would look more sketched than watercolored (yet sloppy looking. Seeing how different the original versions of the Fleischer Popeye films are compared to the redrawn ones, I wonder how it would be if all the WB films would look if they were redrawn?

I don't think I still have it, but I made a fake image of "Gift Wrapped" once with ugly, backward backgrounds and ugly colors for Sylvester.

I think I have a PD tape with redrawn versions of "Porky's Ant" and "Robinson Carusoe, Jr.". In some scenes the characters look decidedly off-model...though at least the soundtrack doesn't get dubbed over like a Tom and Jerry short w/ Mammy. That I couldn't fathom--Friday speaking with a British accent, maybe?
