The boxset containing all the Pink Panther cartoons is due out at the end of the month. And when it was first announced last year, I was rather excited about it. But now after watching the Pink Panthers on Boomerang (and taping them), I'm not quite eager to shell out $45 for it - plus it won't have the other characters on it.
Instead of my normal pre-order, I'm just going to wait and read the reviews about the quality of the transfers.

I was disappointed by the delay, but I am still looking forward to owning all the Pink Panther shorts. The special features are enticing too, especially the Friz Freleng tribute. Of course, it's going to take me a year to get through 14 hours of pink pandemonium, especially with all the other dvds I am wanting to buy.

I kind of avoided watching the airings on Boomerang after hearing about the set getting delayed. This is something I've been looking forward too for a few years now. As far as quality goes I probably will look at the reviews but unless it's something really noticable I'll still get it regardless

From what i've heard, all of the Pink Panther cartoons that will be on the five disc set, will be fully restored and remastered, unlike several prints that don't look preserved or intact on Boomerang.I urge everyone to get this dvd collectors set, as this might be one of the biggest classic toon dvds for 2006.

Does anyone know if The Pink Panther Film Collection as shown on amazon.com includes all 17 shorts of the ant and the aardvark? I'm looking to buy the shorts for my Dad for christmas and I am not sure if all 17 shorts are included. Or maybe some of you know of another pink panther box set that inlcudes the ant and the aardvark series.

Now when should we see in 2007 or later DVD sets of the 1980's Pink Panther and Sons cartoon series and/or the 1990's talking Pink Panther cartoon series?

Are they releasing more/another?This is an old topic, that's the same DVD that's mentioned at the beginning of the thread.
To answer the questions, nope, no Ant & Aardvark shorts in here.
And no mention on any TV Show being released, AFAIK.
Since this thread is now outdated, I'm locking it.
