Basically I'm asking if there are any games that have....I don't know, a really bad inconsistant frame rate despite the fact that the graphics have been lowered in detail to comensate for that, bad draw distances where you can barely see what's in front of you or the pop in is very noticable it makes you wonder why the developers didn't add a fog effect to cover it, and other technical problems.

I'm sure there are other technical problems, but I know of one game (which I have) which kind of has the examples I mentioned, Driver 2 for the PS1.

Now I remember really looking forward to this game, I had enjoyed the first game so much and I knew I'd enjoy the sequel even more, I got it and....I was dissapointed. Not in the gameplay, the gameplay was fine, I mean you got to get out of your car and walk around the cities in a full 3D environment, and this was only a year before GTA3 came out.

It was the graphics, they were simply awful, but more awful in the technical sense, now I knew the PS1 had been around for 5 years at that point and games then were taking it's hardware to the limit, but I think this game may have taken it a bit too far. The draw distance looked like it was less than in the original, and there was so much slow down and other problems it's no wonder I stopped playing it.

I was wondering if there are any other games that have a horrible graphical/technical presentation

The original Cool Boarders for PS1 comes to mind. Polygonal tearing is all over the place.

Grandia -friggin- 2 for the pc, buggest release ever...
Seriously, the game would lock up randomly, Mellenia's fallen wings was badly done, eh, the whole thing was a mess from start to finnish, even Cam Clarke couldn't save this one.

Oh yeah I just thought of another technically horrible game, Overblood 2.

Well the technical presentation was okay, but at some point during the second chapter of the game, you enter a another part of the level and it does not load up. My guess is the game is just broken

Spyro for Gamecube (the first one I forget the name of). I got it for Xmas a few years back and returned it a few days later because it was just so freakin' laggy.
Rayman for DS was also pretty slow as well.

Nearlly all of the Playstation 1 games, epsially the older ones.

And Donkey Kong for the GBA (as in the remake/re-release of the 1981 arcade game). I havent played any of the other verisions, but this one was just so, terriblly slow it zapped pretty much any pointental fun the game could of otherwise had from it. shame really

WWF Just Bring It! for the PS2. Just ask any wrestling fan and they'll tell you it could've been ported over to PS1 with little effort.
