Now, how did I miss this one?
UPN aired the Fat Albert Christmas Special on Christmas Eve, and actually won its time slot among Adults 18-34, Women 18-34 and Kids 2-11. This was the original show that originally aired in 1974. UPN is now reportedly trying to get Hallmark Entertainment, which owns the rights to FA and the other Filmation shows, to let it air other Fat Albert specials (Easter and Halloween have been mentioned) in the upcoming year. Sighhh... I fall asleep at the switch once and see what happens? Missed Fat Albert. Excuse me, must beat my head against the clubhouse down at the dump...
And let me thank Cartoon Research (http://www.cartoonresearch.com) and Mr. Beck for the originally posting this item. Good site for an insider's view of the industry.
