yet another promising movie.....but this one will be an odd one to see. i think it will be very unballanced because stanly coubric(sp) starting writing this before his death and never finished it, and spielburg did. while both good dicrectors, they have/had, very differnt styles of directing, writing.
please ignor all typographical erros, im not the most awake at the moment.

Another Steven Spielberg "feel-good" film for everyone to praise and glorify. Give me some Claritin.

Sorry, I can't get past the fact that it features that brat from Sixth Sense. That kid will ruin any movie for me.

If you notice while watching TV spots for this, it still says THIS FILM HAS NOT YET BEEN RATED. The movie opens at the end of this month and no rating yet. Well, that's because Warner and Dreamworks are trying to decide whether or not to market this film with an "R" rating. That would make A.I the 4th film that Spielberg made to get an R rating. The other 3 are Schindler's List, Amistad, and Saving Private Ryan. Plus it makes you wonder what Spielberg has done if it does get an R rating. BTW, I got this from the IGN website, who they heard from a source at Dreamworks. I think it might be true. It's odd that with less than a month away, there still is no rating.

I don't want to say anything but your avatar is way too big...

Yeah, man, did you like cheat the system to get that thing up? It is only supposed to be a certain size!

I didn't cheat the system as far as I know. I tried uploading a pic of Ghost Rider for my first pic, but it was rejected and I got a message saying along the lines that the pic was too big. So when I uploaded the He-Man pic and it was accepted, I was under the impression that when it would show up on the computer screen, it would be small like everyone elses. To my surprise it wasn't. I want to keep this pic, but I can't shrink it. Is there anyway for the moderators to shrink it. I know that it's not fair that mine is bigger than everyone elses. (Uh, insert joke there.) If there is a way to shrink it, then I'm game.

Under the user name, it says Newbie for mine and Member for BWDX. But calhouno7, Leap Larry Jo, and mxyzptlk have custom ones. I can't find where I can change it in the control panel. Or is it for certain members?

If it works for you, it works for me! Maybe it got in while they were doing the upgrades on the board! Personally, I think you should keep it as is! It is rather eye catching!

I believe you need to have more than 10 posts to change it, then you can change it under your control panel settings.

avatars should be 75 pixels by 75 pixels in size. They have to be resized before they are uploaded. The bigger the picture, the harder it is to resize, but I could use a program on my lap top to shrink that guy down for you if you want, ClownPrince. Although I see you've gotten offers for that already, so no biggie.
Toonzone declares you a newbie until you reach a certain number of posts (it's not too big a number, so don't worry). After that, you can customize it to say something, say, more fitting to your character.
Don't forget, email, reply (or even both if ya want!) any questions you might have to admins or webmasters!

I'm sorry. I REALLY tried to figure out what you were saying, but I could NOT decipher it for the life of me. I understand you don't like "grammar", but I think it's common courtesy to at least write so that people can understand you without having to spend 10 minutes trying to figure it out. I'm not trying to be offensive, but I would just really like to know what you're saying.
While I'm in tirade mode, that avatar is far too big, Clown Prince. :)
Anyway, back ON-TOPIC, for a change:
A.I. looks interesting to me, but I'll probably wait for cable. The fact that Haley Joel Osment is in it doesn't turn me off to it, even though I thought Sixth Sense was WAY overrated. He's a good actor, and it's VERY rare to find such talent in one so young. Or even in ones older, for that matter...

I agree. Most of the time, it just seems down right illegible.

it took me 2 seconds to read it, lets break it down shall we?
just sound out all the hard words
panochio---the wooden disney puppet
year--- and time that consists of 365 days
3000--a number, in this case a year
gepetpo--the man who made panochio
i---a letter, in this case panochio
am---a verb refering to self, describing the state of being on ones self
a---a letter,
real---not fake
ah----an italian word that has no meaning and put in random places in sentences
boy----a young male.
not put it together. yay!
now thats what i call fun

I'm glad you can read it, but for those of us not suffering from the same condition, it's a bit more difficult. Sorta like a 6 year old being able to translate the baby talk of a two year old. No offense, Mxy.

Well, I could somewhat understand what you were saying, Joker, but you were WAY spelling Pinocchio wrong. Maybe that's why some people couldn't understand it. However, what I believe Bud was referring to the grammar, not the words. It made no sense. Not that I'm the undisputed grammar queen, or anything, but still.
I think A. I. looks pretty cool, just...wierd. Personally, I'd see just to see exactly why the Statue of Liberty is almost completely submerged in water. Other than that, it looks like total eye-candy, but hey, call me sweet-tooth. >smiles<

I admitt, un-punctuated posts are harder to read. But I'm sure we could all cut each other a little slack in whatever small ways we can think of.
That is so funny you said that about The Statue of Liberty, SK, because that's exactly why I'd see the movie! It's probably because of the polar ice caps melting, I'd say. It's feel good movie right? Probably has more than one "message".
It does seem like the idea's been done before, so I wasn't as motivated to see it as I would.....I dunno, some other movie.

Sorry. I didn't mean for it to come out so harsh.
Well, the polar ice caps thing does seem like a good reason, but, I dunno. I mean, I'm curious to see it, but I'm not like counting down the seconds like with Tomb Raider, which looks like a ROCKIN movie so far. >ahem< Well, if I see it, cool, if not, I won't lose sleep over it.
