I just realized how brilliant the barry allen version was compared to the wally west DCAU version. Allen showed us how mature, intelligent, creative the flash can be when solving crimes, as to West, cocky rush into things thinking. In all these years I have never seen West do some real detective work compared to his live action counter part. Was this the creative teams desision to make West like this for JL or the other way around, to make Allen's live version more of a detective and a thinker?

Actually, I think Wally West did intially act like that when he first became the Flash in the comics and the Barry Allen Flash was always a pretty smart guy(he was a police scientist). It boils do to how they were in the comics (With Barry dead and Wally having matured since then).

I think they needed a lighter, more impulsive Flash in the DCAU, especially in JL/JLU. You have to consider the big seven as a whole, how the personalities balance each other out. I don't want to go as far as saying he's comic relief, but he certainly lightens things up.

so...whats holding up the creative team from having a few Flash villains on JLU? I would love to see Hamil voice the trickster or have one last joker appearence where him and the trickster team up :P

The Trickster makes his DCAU debut in Season 3. And Mark Hamill is doing the voice. The World's Finest synopsis says:

Episode #31 - Flash and Substance
Original Airdate -
Batman and Orion see a different side of the Flash when a rogues’ gallery of villains attacks the museum that is opening in his honor.

You can see clips (including Trickster and Captain Cold among others) during the end credits of both Chaos at the Earth's Core and To Another Shore.

I'll tell you right now that insane laugh and crazy voice that Mark Hamill can do is far scarier than James Earl Jones' deep breathing voice. ;)

He does. You can see in the previews for 'Flash and Substance'. He even looks like Mark Hamill.

You've got to remember that we're seeing Wally in a team situation, where he can just let someone like Batman do the hard thinking. If there were a DCAU Flash show (crosses fingers and prays), chances are we'd see him doing more clue gathering and such.

And besides, we have enough intelligent, mature and creative heroes on the team as it is. It's kinda cool to have someone who doesn't have all the answers and automatically knows what to do.

And after watch "Laputa, Castle In the Sky" on TMC last Thursday, which Mark Hamill voice acted a character in, I realized that Mark Hamill's insane laugh and crazy voice is not just used in the DCAU Joker's voice. We may hear a twist of it in the Trickster's voice.
