Triple Threat Zolo Swords
Kids can re-create the awesome sword fighting style of their favorite three-swordsman, Roronoa Zolo™ from the hit show One Piece™. Comes with three swords and includes electronic sounds and a sayas for holding your swords on your hip. Each requires three AG13 batteries, included.
Haha I freaken knew it. 3 for each sword is a lot. :P
Pi-Ripz
Run the ripcord through these figures and watch them spin into action! These 7” pirates include Luffy™, Don Kraig™, Sanji™ and Zolo, each on a mission to find the One Piece™ treasure. Unleash their unique battling actions and weapons! Kids will want to collect them all! Figures include an exclusive DVD of the entertainment too. Each sold separately.
Free episodes of Hacked Piece with each figure? Thats' a nice promotional idea.

Wow... That's gotta be a first. Mattel actually bothered to put this toyline on their page. They sure didn't do that with Shaman King.
Hmmm. Who knows, perhaps they'll actually see go all the way through with the One Piece toys.

The One Piece toys looked really bad inside a recent Shonen Jump issue.

I think this thread should be merged with the previous One Piece Mattel figure thread.

Actually Roman, the One Piece toys came out two weeks ago.Oh they did? Heh, my bad. I checked for them a week ago, and didn't see any. Of course I checked my local Wal-Mart so they must've not got the shipment.

both waves?
What about the big stretchy Luffy?
that site would be nice with bigger pics -__-

Actually, that's not that bad. The batteries are included with the swords, and they would give them a little bit of weight, which makes them feel a little more realistic. Nothing bad about that when you think about it.

The fact that they don't let you get a decent look at the toys speaks for itself.

The crappy dub ones.

I bet some people will pick up that figure just for the awfulness of its design.

I know that :p, but which episodes have they chosen to represent each characters? I find this interesting since I'm comparing it to the un-cut, original dub.

My guesses:
Luffy: Episode 4
Zolo: Episode 19
Sanji: Episode 26
Don Krieg: Episode 23
BTW, this isn't the first time Mattel included free DVDs with their anime toylines. I recall something similar happened where free DVDs of episodes 3 and 7 of Shaman King would be packed in with their toys (along with trailers for the uncut DVDs and televised airings).
The only difference is that Shaman King's dub doesn't suck.

The only difference is that Shaman King's dub doesn't suck. I believe your mistaken. Shaman King didn't have DVD inserts with the toys at all. THe other Toy lines from Mattel for 4Kids properties that have DVds are The Winx Club. There are other 4Kids series that contain DVDs inside them too like DoReMi and TMNT but these lines are from Bandai and Playmates.

For the TMNT line from Playmates, they did include single episode DVDs. However, they were the pretty awful episodes like Garbageman.

Right, I was thinking of the Upper Deck TCG.
Meh, same difference.

All Pi-Ripz (ugggh) come with the same ep "The Hunt Begins" I don't know which one that is, but the disk art (which is pretty cool actually) features Chopper along with the group.
Should't we just merge the 2 OP figure threads....

The Hunt Begins must be from Alabasta.
