Even I could afford this...but I wouldn't buy it unless I knew what it was from. It's not the Clyde that appears in "Fright Before Christmas".

It doesn't look like Clyde to me either. It looks like it might be Baby Bugs from "Portrait of the Artist as a Young Bunny"?

No, that Bugs had pointier ears and bigger eyes. He was taller too. Do you know if Clyde ever appeared on the Bugs Bunny show? I see production art from that show on ebay occasionally. My only other guess would be that Friz Freleng cheater cartoon in which Bugs tells stories of his adventures to Clyde.

"Yankee Doodle Bugs" or "His Hare Raising Tale"?

If I were betting, I would say it's a cel from when Clyde comes back from school at the end of "Yankee Doodle Bugs," but I'd have to watch the cartoon again to be sure Friz ever drew him from that angle.

Three observations -
1. The drawing is WAY too rough - At that time Hawley Pratt would never have let it pass, so I think it's not an "oldie".
2. Weren't the original Clyde's feet white, like Bugs' feet?
3. I'll bet Sogturtle could shed some light on this....
IMHO this is from Looney Xmas Tales - just my opinion:)
