Anyone looking forward to the Space Quest, King's Quest, and Police Quest that are due out in 10 days or so?

Each one is only going to cost you 20 bucks each, and they include every installment made of the series up to this point.

The games certainly are not graphical monsters so even a low grade PC should be able to play them

I've never played any of those games, but I've heard good things. I'll probably grab one and see if its worth my while. I thought Sierra basically didn't even adknowledge these games anymore though. Who is it that's putting them out? Maybe the Leisure Suit Larry series (the real LSL anyway. not the Al Lowe-less new one) can see a similar re-release.

I think the real question is if they'll even be compatible with modern day PC's. In the past Sierra had a nasty habit of releasing the collections without tweaking the games so they would work on newer technology.

Tell me about it, without a modification to slow down my computer, I couldn't even get past the opening levels of SQIV.

Thank God. I have a crappy PC and I'm poor, so this works out for me. Can't wait to play some of those King's Quest games again. I love compilations.

Amazon says they doUnless I see boxart and a press release this is not genuine.

Oh and... "This item will be released on March 30, 2006." Way to go.

A LSL compilation is coming out with the others on the same day at the same price.

I think the real question is if they'll even be compatible with modern day PC's.The platform is down as WinXP so I assume they have been fixed to work on newer PC's.

Thank God. I have a crappy PC and I'm poor, so this works out for me.For games that are affected by the CPU's clock speed a pentium II can be too fast and maybe even just a pentium might also be too quick.

If I was this stubborn I would have missed the Sanitarium rerelease a couple of years back.
