"Dark Lantern" helped me out here, which you'll see inna sec. But, as you know - the names have been released for the JGA. Also, the voice actors for the episode have been released and here they are:
Jeffrey Jones, Michael McKean, Stephen Root, William Katt, David Naughton, Ted McGinley, Neil Patrick Harris, and Jennifer Hale.
Here is the character/voice match ups that "Dark Lantern" is speculating:
1) Tom Turbine: Stephen Root or Ted McGinley
2) Black Siren: Jennifer Hale (duh)
3) Catman: David Naughton
4) Green Guardsman: William Katt
5) Streak: Michael McKean
with Neil Patrick Harris as the JGA’s “teen mascot.” Any other voices will likely be villians.

"Teen mascot?" They really ARE trying to make the JG cheesy, aren't they?

Howdy all,
Stephen Root as a superhero? Wow...all I can picture is "Jimmy James" from NewsRadio in the Justice League, and I can't take the concept seriously. Heheheh.
Am I the only one here old enough to remember William Katt as "The Greatest American Hero" on ABC all those years ago? Guy gets a suit from aliens that gives him all these super powers, but he loses the instruction manual. Pretty lousy show, but I wonder if Bruce Timm & co are going to bring that into play somehow.

"The Greatest American Hero"? Man, I used to love that show! I always thought that the theme song from that show would've perfectly fit a guy who gets the Green Lantern ring for the first time.

"Believe it or not, I'm walking on air.
I never thought I could feel so fre-e-e.
Flying away
Look good at me.
Believe it or not, it's just me."
"The Greatest American Hero" is a spoof of Superman and other comic book heroes. The entertaining part was "superman" trying to fly. It would have been boring if he actually knows how to fly properly.
Stephen Root as a superhero? Wow...all I can picture is "Jimmy James" from NewsRadio in the Justice League, and I can't take the concept seriously. Heheheh. Unless Tom Turbine is a eccentric redneck billionaire.

Why not William Katt as Catman? Typecasting?
Is the "teen mascot" role speculation or fact? If it's only speculation, I'd guess NPH for the Streak (w/McKean as the Guardsman). I don't really know who David Haughton is, however. I do like McGinley as Tom Turbine. I would guess that Root would more likely be a villian or a supporting character, though (or the guy that keeps getting his stapler stolen by the JGA and eventually burns down their HQ). And Jeffrey Jones is kinda stuck in the villian role isn't he?

I love that movie.
And I think Stephen Root did a wonderful job as Milton. I was a big fan of the "Milton" cartoons, and when I heard that Root was going to be playing that character, I was really left scratching my head. But much to my (pleasant) surprise, he really nailed the performance in the movie.

Cool, I love Jennifer Hale's voice. She voiced the Black Cat/Felicia Hardy in the animated Spiderman series. :D

I'll answer my own question on that one. I just re-read the earlier Timm interview about the JGA and caught his "teen mascot" remark. Whoops. So...okay, I'll buy Niel Patrick Harris as the mascot.
