Ten years and still going strong? Now that is impressive! GregX, what do you think has helped keep these gatherings going so strong over the past ten years? Will there be any specific “10th Anniversary” events?

I think everyone who keeps this Gathering going really deserves a major pat on the back!

Well, the material that inspired these cons is really good. Also, from my point of view, a lot of the people who attend these Gatherings have become close friends, so a lot of people go to see their friends as well as support the show. BTW, the con is very opening and welcoming towards all newbies. We want it to get bigger.

As for any specific 10th Anniversary events, I'll have to keep you guys posted. The schedual is still being worked out.

Is this Ed Asner's first Gathering appearance? Man, I really wish I wasn't going to be in the middle of prepping for the bar exam. Perhaps I can finally make it for the 11th Gathering.

There is only one Gargoyles con. It was in Dallas once, back in 1999. But, the Gathering travels around depending on who decides to run it any given year. I'm a native New Yorker, so, in 2003, when I ran it, we had it in New York. This year's con chair, Jennifer Anderson, is from Los Angeles, so she's running it there (as she did in 2001).

Yep, this will be Ed Asner's first. Please guys, don't let him pull a Shatner on stage and tell all the fans to "get a life".

I wish I could afford to go, but I cannot. Maybe next year.

Ed has send messages to the cons, audio tapes and video, and he would have come to 2001, but he had to have hip surgery. But, from what I've seen, he really enjoyed the series and thinks the fans are great.

So far, all the Special Guests who've worked on the show that I've met, I have nothing but positive things to say about.

When I attended the Orlando Gathering (I forgot what year it was...) there was a CD, was that CD with music formthe show?

if so, will that CD or something along those lines be available during this con. I'd REALLY like a CD with Gargoyles music (almost as much as I want a CD of ReBoot and Thundercats music)

I wasn't at 2000, so I don't know. However, at 2001, Carl Johnson (series composer) did put up for auction a CD with four of the music tracks for the series score. The music is available online also...
