I came across this new audio interview with Dwayne McDuffie (http://www.wordballoon.com/MCDUFFIE.html) at Wordballoon.com (http://wordballoon.com).
Thoughts?

McDuffie is 6'7"? whoa.
The great thing about that clip was the guy's a fan of the show just like any of us, and he keeps pulling Mr. McDuffie back to highlight specific episodes. The interviewer's extended chuckling got a little annoying at times though.
So no decision on renewals until the rest of the season airs? Wouldn't that mean another year-long wait until new material?

Right. "...look at [it] very carefully... we kinda told you what was happening." Mister Siuntres didn't seem to catch on, though. Though I recall one or two TZers did way back when...
And that's all I have to say about that.

Wow, thanks for the link! That was great -- like the audio version of McDuffie's forums or something.

Phil Lamarr is S.T.R.I.P.E?!
Damn, he has talent.
Are there any spoilers in that?

McDuffie is 6'7"? whoa.
He most certainly is. Short Jew that I am (5' 3 1/2"), I was basically looking straight up when I met him. It's a good thing I hang out with a Samoan a lot, so I'm used to these kinds of ridiculously tall people. b.t.'s pretty tall himself.

Great interview...
I wish i paid better attention in that Hawkman episode.. I have *no* clue what "they're planning/trying to do."
Dwayne rocks. period. and I'm TOTALLY in agreement about Farscape and the new Battlestar Galactica.. hated um at first, now I'm totally hooked :D
