I picked up quite a bit when the sale started; Digital Devil Saga, Fatal Frame 2, RE4, Romance of the Three Kingdoms IX, Pikmin 2, and Tekken 5.

I really did want to pick up Darkstalkers for $10 on the PSP, but my TRU was cleaned out of it and only had Rengoku and a soccer game for PSP titles which neither are worth $10 if you ask me.

Most Excellent, I got a Resident Evil 4 for GC thanks to that sale

an Alien Hominid, Metal Slug 4 & 5 and Killer 7 as well ( PS2, but for Christmas gifts)

I was planning to finally snag RE4, but couldn't find it anywhere.

I did score Pikmin 2, WarioWare for GC, Final Fantasy I & II (GBA), and the Super Monkey Ball 2-pack, though.

This sale is pretty awesome. It's worth noting that a lot of the games are available online for $10 via Amazon (there's a list at cheapassgamer).

Virtua Quest is horrible, Final Fantasy I&II are excellent, Shaman King games look like they would be worth $10.

If anybody gets any extra copies of Digital Devil Saga 1 I'll buy it off you. Just PM me.
Good luck with that, that was easily the hardest game to find from the sale and most people don't want to get rid of it for a decent price. If you really want it try calling local Gamestop and EB stores and hunting down a new or used copy because it will be a very expensive game soon as will it's sequel which I have yet to buy.

I really really wished I found a copy of Resident Evil 4. Alas...

Either way, I previously purchased Dead Or Alive Ultimate, and last night got Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits, and Geist.

I picked up Xenosaga 2, Doom 3:CE, and SNK vs Capcom: Chaos, as well as the Snonic Double pack for the Gamecube, I'm curious on what was added to the GC versions whenc ompared to the DC versions, so 10 bucks for both games couldn't have gotten any better to appease my curiosity.

I saw no Resident Evil 4 though(even though I have the GC collector edition), no Digital Devil Saga(guy said they only had one in stock), and none of the relative big name games that were on the list. They just had a whole lotta junk really. Even the Gameboy games were just all Armored Liberty or CHampionship poker.

So, Will, you DID get a DS. Huh, I coulda gotten you Feel The Magic for $4.50 at Target...

For which system?

And for Virtua Quest, is it horrible as a part of Virtua Fighter (a series I never cared for) or just a horrible game altogether?

Not quite. Sarah got a DS. I don't have one yet. (Although I do borrow hers because Fire Emblem looks better on it due to the brighter screen).

Aside from improved graphics, there isn't all that much. I'd still say they were worth it at that price, though. Having a second analog stick for the camera is nice. Both will also connect with the GBA Sonic games for a more complex Chao game than the DC versions offered.

SA1 sports a "mission mode" which I find to be kind of trite, but your mileage may vary. There is also an assortment of unlockable Game Gear games. You can play as Metal Sonic if you get all of the emblems, as well (I have yet to finish this, though).

SA2's main enhancement is a robust multiplayer mode.

Well, my TRU was cleaned out. The only GBA game on clearence was F-Zero GP Legend (which I don't care about) and the only GCN games there were Batman Vengeance (which I didn't care for), F-Zero GX (I already have), Medal of Honor, and Splinter Cell (neither of which I have any remote interest in).

I consider it a First Person adventure game with shooting involved but you're right you do scan more than you shoot. Of course you don't have to scan everything, they just want you to.

The only way to get the good ending is to scan the entire log book

and it doesn't cumulate like Final Fantasy X-2's %, so you can only get one play-thru to get good ending

I should be getting Resident Evil 4 in the mail (thanks!).

BTW, tell me the feasibility of this scheme.

Geist is $10 as TRU. Geist, trade-in at Gamestop, is $12 credit. If you trade in five games, you get an extra 30% in trade in. If you have the membership card, you save 10% on used items.

I buy five copies of Geist, spending $50. I trade them in to Gamestop for $60. Factor in the extra 30%, and that's like an extra $18. Effectively, I now have $78. Saving ten percent on used on items means I could spend roughly $90 on used items.

So, spend $50 and get $90? Is there any step I'm missing or is impossible?

Not a bad idea. I don't think my TRU has 5 left though. Nor do I want to spend 50 bucks even if I'll get more in the return.

You'd be even better off returning those sealed games to, say, Best Buy or CompUSA for $50 store credit apiece (both stores should take them).

Yeah, you're pretty limited when making returns without a receipt. CompUSA will give you store credit for them, Best Buy will do so only early in the year, and Target will let you exchange any game for another of equal value. If you have multiples of the same title, though, they'll get suspicious of you.

There are lots of $10 clearance games at TRU that still carry an MSRP of $50, though.

Chad Bonin

How would that have netted me a difference? Geist for $10 gains me $50. Doom for $20 nets me $60. Either way I make $40.
