Wow, I hope Lord of the Rings ends up making more money than some of the movies that are currently ahead of it...of course it still hasn't been out for that long. I'm really interested to see if Harry Potter reaches $300 million...that's a lot of money...

Notice the #2 and #3 spots: Shrek and Monsters Inc. That's a strong confirmation that we'll be seeing lots more CG animation headed our way.

Wow...I'm shocked about some of the junk that made it onto this list. And there are a number of sequels here too (6 in all, don't be fooled by the lack of a number after Hannibal), which at least to me, seems unusual.

Interesting... at this rate, LOTR and Potter will be tied, as will Shrek and Monsters Inc.
