I checked www.cartoonresearch.com from Jack's thread and found this link! Go over here and vote!

I dunno if this'll do any good, but it's worth a shot!

The fact that the Disney webpage is officially acknowledging that this film actually exists is great news. And the fact that that site gives technical specifications is even more encouraging. Vote and spread the word--I'm afraid I'm getting my hopes up. :D

Oh yeah! I'll be the first person in line buying this DVD when (or IF) it comes out!

Is anyone else having a terrible time trying to vote for anything on that site??

It's kind of weird, they don't give you any message telling you that you have voted when you click on that link. There's also a link on the left (right below the picture of Tinkerbell) where you can send them a message saying why you want it on video.

I know. I finally got on another computer and sent that e-mail form. I think the "Cast Your Vote" link only takes you to the main voting page, but doesn't actually register as a vote for the movie.

I thought it was funny how for almost all of its qualifying categories like "Best Musical" or "Best Movie of the 40's," "Song of the South" was usually in the Top 5. Hopefully Disney will get the hint.

I like the idea that it may be available "by request" at their website. That way it would be available to people like us who want it, and people who don't want it won't get as wound up about it because they're not actually walking past it in stores.
