You can yell at me if you want, but since One Piece is on Miguzi, I thought this would work.
Monday: I'm Gonna Be King of the Pirates!
Tuesday: Roronoa Zolo: The Pirate Hunter
Wednesday: An Unlikely Pair: The Pirate and the Pirate Hunter
Thursday: The Passing of the Hat
Friday:The Circus Comes to Town

I always thought Koby was a cute little character. I do wish Oda makes him and Luffy reunite in the future.

There is a mini-story where you see Coby again. 2 problems though.
1. Luffy's not in it.
2. 4kids never aired it.

Ah the hammer gun. That alone makes the 3rd episode of this awful dub worth tuning in for. That and I didn't have work so I was actually home with some free time at 4:30PM today.
I'm not too impressed by their clip selection for the bumpers I must say.
I forgot how groanful the dialogue in these early episodes was... x_x

I actually was looking foward to this episode purely for the hammer gun. And like the first time, it cracked me up.

Ahh... The Hammer gun.... Such.... Memories....
Also... Did anyone catch the bible reference in this episode?

No, what was it?

No, what was it? :confused:It was a subtle one anyways...
Morgan says that the legend of Forbbidan Fruits is true, due to Luffy's power. And then one of the Navy/Marine men replies with "Huh? Adam and Eve?" (if you ever read that part of the bible, you should see what I saying..)
But then another Navy/Marine man corrects him, saying that Morgan meant the "Fruit of the Sea".

A relgious joke on a 4kids show is something very unexpected. Though when I heard it I admit I found it rather entertaining.

I have to say that it caught me offguard too, but it was entertaining to me too.

I'm actually glad this show is getting a weekday run. I never watched the first 20 or so episodes back when it started on Toonami.
Today's episode was okay, but the dubbing was terrible.
"When he wakes up...tell him it was a cap gun." Ugh:shrug:

However...
I was surprised that 4Kids left in Shanks arm being bitten off, even if it wasn't graphic. Not only that, but 4Kids showed arm-less Shanks TWICE, where as the original only showed it ONCE. Funny, huh?

yeah, 4kids tends to make things worse when they edit it.
Episode 051's big edit was actually very bad considering it's more dangerous in real life.

What was edited exactly? (I know that the top picture used to have Usopp's nose, but what's there now?)

(I know that the top picture used to have Usopp's nose, but what's there now?)The top picture edited out Usopp's nose, and replaced it with his goggles half buried in the snow. Proboally because in that scene, you COULD mistake his nose for a..... Well... It's better not said.
The second picture simply edited Wapol's cannon to be further away from Dalton's face.

1. What I meant was that a nose sticking out is good, because that means that the person is still breathing.
2. The second edit is worse because pointing a gun at somebody's chest is worse then their face.
3. It's friday!!! The end of a week. Next week should I get this locked and start a new one?

Todays episode was always fun to me. I like Buggy's English voice alot. And they actually left in Zoro getting stabbed by Buggy's knife, though they did edit a little bit of it.

Originally the knife goes through Zoro. In this one they show Buggy intending to stab him and executing the movement but Zoro doesn't even look hurt at all if I remember correctly. Maybe not even a scratch on the back.
The violence edits in OP are quite stange even by 4kids standards.

Yeah, he didn't have a mark or anything, but Luffy and Buggy both acknowledged that he got stabbed.
Plus he was kinda groaning and stuff....

yeah, that will come back to haunt them when they air the Zoro vs. Mihawk episode. I'm requesting a lock for this thread. The deadline for posting in this thread is Monday 4:30 pm.
