For the handul of Family Guy fans on this board, FOX will air a two hour Family Guy marathon on January 10th. I guess this could be to compete with the Survivor finale but...well...whatever. The downside? No Tick. For the third consecutive week, Fox will pre-empt The Tick on Thursday, Jan. 10. As I said before, FOX is showing four consecutive episodes of The Family Guy on that night.

Double NO!! First they're preempting The Tick! Again!

Ok, I admit I do enjoy Family Guy but only in small doses. It seems to me that Fox owes us a Tick marathon. I'd rather watch two hours of The Tick then Survivor any day.

It's been very obvious from day 1 when Family Guy first premiered that someone at FOX really likes this show. Somone who has a lot of pull and say with what goes on. With less than stellar ratings this show just never dies and whoever at FOX likes it, doesn't want it to go away. When the season before it's summer return ended I thought that was it. Then I heard about it's all-new summer episodes and I couldn't believe it, and then it's all-new episode return with the FOX fall line-up. Being a big FG fan, I was really excited to see it hadn't been cancelled for good. Who knows if ever even, Family Guy will disapear from our TV's. LONG LIVE Family Guy! :) Now how about a box DVD set like the folks in Region 2 are getting.

As for The Tick, I absolutley love this show. I'm kind of worried about not hearing any new episodes being ordered. FOX did it with Bernie Mac and the really cool 24 so they could both last until May and 24 gets to finish it's story, but no news on Tick. I hope and pray that FOX does the right thing and give the go ahead for more new episodes. Anyone know what the ratings are like for Tick?

ARGGG!!! It's never a good sign when they keep pre-empting shows for other shows, especially reruns of other shows (assuming not all 4 FG's are new).

Aw man! I don't really care for Family Guy, and now were missing another episode of the Tick because of it. You honestly can't even tell the Tick is one of Fox's shows the way it's pre-empted so much.

WHY GOD?!!

I find Family Guy to be occasionally funny....but its still rare. Family Guy represents all that is wrong with the world...*sigh*...WHY?!?!!!

I hope that their just pre-empting The Tick, to finish the last 4(I think?) episodes in the season. C'mon! Isn't The Tick getting better ratings than Family Guy?

You know when I said in another post that quality gets rewarded? Sure doesn't apply in this case....

Hasn't there been enough suffering without more of that insipid show? Make the Family Guy stop!

Just do what I do about Family Guy on DVD and set your DVD player on your computer to region two and get the DVDs from the UK.

I agree that Tick deserves more attention. I am a Family Guy fan, but as it's been stated, this show's got a good thing going on the way they keep finding a time slot for it. I doubt it's going away anytime soon. But if there is one show that needs more exposure, it's Tick. I want to see Tick on as long as Family Guy has been on. And you can bet I would buy any Tick DVDs that come out, region 2 or 1.
