just peeped the website.. looks cool so far.. looks like it'll be traditional animation, at least for the most part.. I hope this comes out on dvd soon..

I didn't like that syndicated Conan toon of the 90's.. it was obviously more geared toward younger kids..

voices include Ron Perlman (Conan), Cree Summer (Valeria), and more..

I reported this almost a week ago on the News Page here (http://news.toonzone.net/article.php?ID=7500). Superhero Hype and Comic Book Resources... you're too slow. :p

The character designs are pretty cool... the nice thing is they're their own animal, Conan doesn't seem to scream loyalty to Frazetta or the Marvel comics, though there seems to be a stronger influence from the latter. The backgrounds will undoubtedly have an immense influence by Frazetta, and these bg designs reflect him pretty well in spirit, though computer coloring can only come so close. The Mike Kaluta background concepts are very cool, though I could've sworn I've seen those Mark Schultz images before.

I'm pretty excited for this film, can't wait to see footage from it!

The character designs have a sort of Gargoyles-Aeon Flux cross to them, which is interesting.

They could go a number of ways when animated. I can picture it looking somewhat sloppy if generically animated (like Titan AE) or it could look interestingly animated, like...er...Aeon Flux.

I do like how Conan looks overall.

Valeria is...different. She looks different from how John Buscema and Barry Windsor Smith portrayed her in the comics http://www.horrorseek.com/horror/unclecreepy/images/rednails2.gif.

This version looks more like how Esteban Maroto drew her.
