Turner South's showing the Phantom Tollbooth right now. However, for those not living in the South, you won't be seeing it.
Turner South's a regional network, which shows the Turner sports teams in Atlanta, as well as original productions. Basically, aside from those two aspects, they're basically what TBS used to be, beofre AOL and TW took it over.
Later today, Turner South's showing "The Incredible Mr. Limpet". Wonder why Cartoon Network won't show "The Phantom Tollbooth"? Instead, we get the same overplayed movies.

Good point, Argus. I'd love to see "Limpet" too - and doesn't the conglomerate own both of those movies? Hmmmm...

You're righto... "the conglomerate" does indeed own both the classic "Limpet" and "Phantom Tollbooth". Now if they could just round up the REAL production credits for "Mr. Limpet "... Oh Mr. GAK!!!
I think CN is holding off on the Phantom Tollboth so they have fresh movies to show in the future  . I could have sworn that they used to show it all the time in the mid 90s. I don't think I've ever seen Limpet, though.
The Phantom Tollbooth was a pretty good movie, if I remember right. Can't wait for CN to show it again.
Also, does CN own the rights to that Little Nemo movie?
Jack :D
