Light a match, and bob it up & down. It's Richard Pryor lighting the path to Heaven.

RIP

With his physical condition, I knew it was only a matter of time before this happened

*Sigh*, yet another comic legend dies

Ah, Richard Pryor. I liked you, I really did.

Even if you were in Superman 3

As a kid I didn't understand him, but as an adult I loved him. He was one of the funniest men of all time. There is nothing that comedians are doing today that cannot in some be traced back to Richard Pryor.

Rest in Peace Mr. Pryor, and thank you some great times.

That's too bad. He really was a ground breaking comedian.

He made me laugh, and he made me think. He also inspired countless others to do the same. RIP.

Truly one of the greatest black comedians of all time. Although considering his medical condition, I must too agree it was only a matter of time. May he rest in peace...:(

It's sad that Richard Pryor has passed away, but we all knew it was comming sooner or later due to his medical condition. At least he was able to live a great life and make a whole lot of people laugh during his life.

When you're counting the funniest people of all time, Richard's on the first hand.

No comic working today doesn't have SOME part of their act and/or success that isn't a direct product of Richard Pryor's pioneering work.

I'm going to have to watch some Pryor films. I haven't seen any in ages.

RIP Jo Jo Dancer.

I'll always remember him for making me laugh when I was younger wathcing his movies. He seemed a nice person

It is really so sad. But that is what happens when you take drugs..

One of the greatest comedians to ever step in front of an audience. Oh well. At least Bill Hicks will now have a smoking buddy.

Had Pryor not been a comedian, it would have been harder for Chris Rock and Dave Chapelle to get a similar base. He will be missed.

Multiple schlerosis, while a very nasty disease, is congenital.

You can not cure it.

You can not cure it.

I think Kefka's point Brett, was that drugs have nothing to do with having MS besides being used as a form of medication for the condition.

Treatment for MS is pretty good these days, advanced a long way from what I've heard. I must admit I had no idea he was an MS sufferer, this was a big shock.

My friend's dad has it and he can barely get out of the house.
