I'm a fan of Barney clear from his Rudy Ising days on through his George Gordon period, then the Lah-Blair moment up to his final theatricals by Lundy. Buuuuuut it's a curiosity that virtually the only Barney Bear artwork (of the '40's) that turns up ever is from this cartoon ("Goggle Fishing Bear"). Just imagine how many THOUSANDS of Barney drawings and cels there were!!!

Believe I've only even seen one cel from the Lundy period (plus a couple of layout drawings and the model sheet from "The Bear That Couldn't Sleep" in my little collection).
