A sequel to my Daws Butler thread. As with that thread, title says all.

I'll have to go with Dr. Benton Quest. Oooh, how would things be if he voiced Dr. Quest when that character made a guest appearance in Harvey Birdman.

Astro and Scooby-Doo (who at times sounded alike) as well as Scrappy, Bamm-Bamm, Ranger Smith and Dr. Quest (the latter two sound very similar as well), as well as Pixie (of the Pixie, Dixie and Mr. Jinks shorts) and Hamton Pig from Tiny Toon Adventures.

Unless I am mistaken, Don Messick doing the voice of Hamton for Tiny Toon Adventures was one of his last major roles before passing away, and I thought he did a great job there. Overall, I really fell in love with Messick doing the voice of Scooby-Doo. That's the voice I will remember Mr. Messick doing the most.

Scooby Doo. Nobody can voice Scooby like Don. Nobody. He also did a fantastic job as Scrappy. If you've heard Scrap's Lenny Weinrib voice, you'd see what an immense improvement Messick was.

Scooby-Doo, but personally I think some of Don's best work was on "Wacky Races/Dastardly and Muttley". Muttley, Klunk and Zilly. Three great voices.

Actually, I don't think Astro and Scooby sounded much alike at least not when Messick voiced them. Astro had more of a robotic-like voice. Then again I think you're right. When Scott Innes voiced Astro or when Dave Coulier did an impression of him the voice sounded like Scooby's, but I don't think Messick intended to make them sound much alike aside from the obvious starting every word with 'r.'

Scooby had more of a "duh" sounding voice than Astro. Astro still had the speech impediment, but he even talked more than Scooby, carrying on conversations almost.
I chose Boo-Boo but Hamton was a close choice.

Trying to decide between Boo Boo and Hamton is tough. But I think I'll go with Boo Boo.

I would've picked Scooby-Doo but I didn't see it so I picked Astro.

Well there are certain differences between the two dogs. But at times they did sound alike. I noticed in the first episode of the 80's Jetsons series (Elroy Meets Orbitty), Astro feeling rejected by the family when Orbitty first came, ran away saying "Rye rye reverybody" as he went down the tube. He sounded more like Scooby in that scene, indicating that happens when Astro is sad. Astro, however, was significanly different in the Astro and the Space Mutts segments of Space Stars with the fact he spoke normal English.
