I understand that this isn't a game related forum but what I do have has to do with Anime. Check out this awesome video for the upcoming PSP video game Maverick Hunter X.

Forget the animation, you get to play as freakin Vile. But yes the animation was great although hearing Dr. Light without the Elmer Fudd accent was a little disappointing.

I beg your pardon? I don't know what you're problem with the show is but the newest season in Japan, EXE Beast proves that the franchise isn't running out of steam. Plus if Capcom wanted to make an X anime, they'd have already done so years ago.
I think more people would be interested in an animated Megaman Zero than X. Especially since we all KNOW how much the Zero fanboys outnumber the X ones.

Oh don't get me wrong. I like the EXE Anime but I think Capcom needs to take a break from it and work on the other series.
I can see Classic going to Miguzi on Cartoon Network.
Zero going to Jetix on ABC Family
Legends going to Toonami on Cartoon Network
And X going to Adult Swim on Cartoon Network.

Well you do raise a point. Ever since Axess, the anime has to resort to reviving dead villains since they kill off to many of them not to mention that it's getting kind of old and redundant.
Although the Zoanoroids in Beast are a different spin on the topic. They can consist of ANY single navi in existance
BTW, a lot of people I talk to seem to prefer Zero on Adult Swim instead of X. And I don't think ABCFamily DID at one point way back during their FoxFamily days air the 90s show reruns so I suppose a Classic Series adaptation could work there.

Well Adult Swim works too. It's just that for Zero series I perfer the Naruto dub where as X, Classic, Legends and BN get the Viz/Shopro dub.
Just think Steven Jay Blum doing the voice for Harpuia and Joshua Seth doing the voice for Zero and Michelle Ruff doing the voice for Ciel and Richard Epcar doing the voice of Dr.Wiel.

I'd rather see an anime series based on the classic Mega Man thank you very much with X coming around after the original series has ended.

I don't very much care for the NT Warrior cartoon since it leaves a little much to be desired. This PSP game I think might create more mysteries instead of solving old ones since that seems to be Capcom's main pull to make more games. After all, if Capcom solved any marginal issues, consumers wouldn't need a desire to keep investigating (buying games).
An X anime would be nice since there are many stories that can run from that universe. It'd be like the Battle Angel manga almost. If a director like Shoji Kawamori came on board I would support it most definitely. Capcom should focus on making new games instead of rereleasing old ones, this PSP game is especially odd since the Megaman X Collection is going to be released in the US in January. How nice of Capcom to provide options for people.
As for the Axxess cartoon? The first fight Laserman had was kinda lame, and then there's the Dark Chips. Ooh scary

Actually, if you're itching to see X in a cartoon format, they DID have an episode of the Megaman classic with X guest starring. I think its the one with Megaman 'burrowing' drillman's powers. Anyway, X shows up from the future. But that's the only time X appeared on the show. And personally, I dont really like Megaman X that much. Zero is cool, yes, but Megaman X is just a hardcore remake of the classic. Nothing much different. That's why I prefer the current NT Warrior series, its a completely new format.
