YAY! A new episdoe of Smallville after my birthday. I'm so happy. Hmm.. isnt the 15th Martin Luther King's Day? If it is, Smallville has been given the great honor to air its shows on holidays. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now MLK's Day? Schway. And notice "Luther". Coincidence?

Looks like a great episode.

I think this is gonna spear heard the change of the series, the emphasis on Clark and his powers away from the Kryptonite villian of week - which will be a very welcome change.

I am very glad to see that it's not a Kryptonite mutated person of the week story! I am wondering what the proposal will be that Lex recieves, tho. Will it be something that brings a change to his character that futher drives him to the dark side?

No, Dr. Martin Luther King Day is the 21st.

I really hope this will lead away from Kryptonite-Villians-of-the-Week. Lex may not be a good enough reason to watch the show if I have to sit through another formulaic episode.

Hm, sounds like a good learning experience for the future Supes.

That girl is gonna be guest starring on the show for (I think) 3 - 4 episodes so it should be something big. Then again, maybe she just wants to live in Smallville for awhile. I wonder what she's up to, though. She could manipulating Luthor...

I am thinking that she might have something to do with being some sort of investigator. I really have no idea, but if it's for 3 or 4 episodes, we could see an arc where Lex uses her to try to unravel some secrets about Clark.

In a TV Guide article, the creators of the show revealed that the British former flame of Lex's played by Kelly Brook will be instrumental in activating Lex's dark side

That new ep sounds very appealing. Can't wait to see it! last weeks ep(X-mas), was that a rerun or a new one? I totally spaced on that Tuesday and it wasn't until like 11 whn i saw a commercial for Smallville, that I realized I missed it. I don't recall seeing previews for a new ep on that day, but it's still bugging me.

It was a rerun. The ep w/ the Ice-boy, or whatever you want to call him.

These new eps sound great! I can't wait.
