I think the "Count Screwloose" films are sort of "cult favorites". Most people have never heard of them, but I certainly laughed my head off upon seeing them.

"You Don't Know What You're Doin'" is not a very common cartoon, but it's so...cool, and not for the drinking theme but the wild, crazy chase through the streets in which the roads and even clocks come to life...very rubbery. Piggy and that drunk version of Goopy Geer are still very ugly characters, even in the pristine copy I've got.

"I Love To Singa": pretty insignifiacant film, if you think about it, but this little Tex Avery short seems to have gained a lot of popularity in recent years.

IMHO, Chuck Jones' CHOW HOUND, Avery's RED HOT RIDING HOOD, Disney's DER FUHRER'S FACE, and Culhane's BARBER OF SEVILLE are ALL good examples of "Cult" cartoons.

Gene Deitch's Tom and Jerry short "Dicky Moe" seems to have a cult following. While not theatrical shorts, "Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol" and the 1975 Hanna-Barbera "Tom and Jerry Show" (where they were friends) would probably count as "Cult Favorites". "The Tom and Jerry Show" even has it's own web page.

"Bowery Bugs" is also considered a fan favorite, and I can see why, since it's such a great cartoon.

Really all of Davis' stuff would fit in this category, IMO.

The Sniffles cartoons and Fox and Crow might fit in, but I'm not really sure what a cult classic is.

I'll agree wich chuckamuck's choices, but I'll add "Fresh Airedale." Long been a favorite of mine...
