Well, there was an Astro Boy comic where he goes back in time to the Vietnam war and saves a village of civilians from a bombing raid. After he leaves, though, they all get bombed anyway.

Haven't seen all of it but I wouldn't be suprised if there's Vietnamese characters in Gundam 8th MS Team.

The original G.I.Joe series did an episode in Vietnam based on the Dust Children( their fathers were American soldiers). Don't know about any others.

In the manga "Mai, the Psychic Girl", the three psychic children sent by the secret evil one-world organization on their mission to take out Mai, one was from Vietnam. I think it was the one who refused to fight her in the end.
