Cool interview. I'd love to hear from someone on the creative team exactly what stories they'd have told had S:TAS not been canceled when it was. I think Bruce Timm stated that the next season would have been Supes up in the watchtower with a new member of the Justice League each week, but it would be nice to hear more details -- especially how they would have dealt with the aftermath of Legacy and Supes' reputation.

Good interview. More Superman TAS interviews and coverage is always a good thing.

Very nice interview. I always enjoyed Stan's eps.

I always wondered about his penchant for alternate universes. Ha! Thanks for a great interview, guys.

I'm glad Stu remembered to ask about the original ending to The Prometheon.

Good interview, I didnt know Mr. Berkowitz had been involved with Superboy. I also liked how he mentioned trying to do Elseworlds DTVs, would've added a whole new layer to the DCAU.

btw, what kind of legal tape is involved in getting these interviews conducted and published? Does World's Finest have to go through Mr. Berkowitz's agent, lawyer, etc?

Yeah, I was intrigued by it all. I'm not a massive fan of the episode, or the ending. I thought the unseen ending added a little more depth to it all, as we realise what they actually did with a 50ft monster. Send it back to space!

Sometimes we do, it really depends on how it's for. I personally have never had to go through agents or network representitives, as most of my interviews are based on show's that are no longer in production. For example, I believe the Bruce Timm interviews are overseen by CN, in case he reveals too much spoilerific information or something to that point. You'd probably be better asking Jim Harvey for that though, as he is the one who conducts the Bruce Timm interviews.

I've interviewed Stan before though (here. (http://marvel.toonzone.net/spideytas/interviews/berkowitz/)), so this was just a case of asking him if he was interested in talking about his work on Superman. :)

As for post Legacy Superman, I thought Justice League and Justice League Unlimited covered that pretty well. I didn't really want to go into JL/JLU too much this interview, as I feel there really isn't a lot of internet coverage available on Superman, compared to the other DCU shows.

Glad most of you seemed to like it though. :)

That is one cool interview, I can't wait to see what and how the other series will turn out! :anime:

Well ... I know that JL/JLU has followed up on the events of "Legacy", but likely not in the same fashion as S:TAS would had it gone on another season. I just wonder if the creative team would have focused on that more acutely with Superman's own show had they been given the chance.

It depends on who you want to interview, the properties you want to discuss, and whether or not a new series/episodes are the topic of discussion. I’ve found that when discussing older shows, interviews are easier to pull off, and have little legal interference.

However, I’ve had many interviews denied, turned down, or heavily censored/altered. I won’t say which, or for what shows, but it can get frustrating. There have been timed when I couldn’t reveal information on upcoming events, only to see it revealed on a different site mere days after I was told it was forbidden.

Overall, I’ve had a few negative experiences, but those are just minuscule to the great ones I’ve had. If there are any further questions, feel free to PM or email me about them, but I won’t be able to get too specific in fear of that looming red tape overhead.

To put this thread back on topic, I'd like to congratulate Stu for an excellent interview with Stan.

Timm said that the next season was going to be Superman trying to gain the trust back from the people.
