View Full Version : Something I should bring attention: Astroboy 1980 Two Disc Fours.

I do not know if anyone also has experienced this, but for some reason my Disc 3 and 4 DVD came with two disc fours instead of the correct dvds listed in the dvd. I'm not sure if this is a matching mistake or something, but has anyone by chance got two disc 4s?

Thanks in advance.

(I'm actually wondering if this thread should be named, "The Manga Empire strikes back" considering how many screw ups they've had)

Manga's botcheries never cease to amaze me.

If you've been given doubles, take it right back to the retailer you bought it from, show them the problem along with your receipt, and they should make arrangements for a replacement set.

I hope Manga entertainment does speak out on this issue and provide disc replacement programs (and hopefully the first two uncut episodes in japanese).

I just checked and:

My set has discs 3 and 4, so it seems the mistake was the at factory not Manga:)

You should e-mail them or return it to the store.

Well, I'mma avoid Manga customer service like the plague, but I'mma see if they have anymore instock, the place I got it from. Though I doubt it...

I opened the set I got from Wal Mart the other day to check. I have disc 3 and 4 in mine, so as has been stated it must have been a factory error. It's understandable as both of the discs are the same bright yellow color. Whoever put them in made an understandable mistake.

A heads up to anyone who may also be interested in the new Eva thinpack. I also picked it up on the same day for a very low $46.44 at Wal Mart.

Sadly, I bet someone from Erie also bought one and got the same issue. :shrug:


Anywho, I returned the DVD, and will be waiting for the next shipment. They put it on special order, so hopefully they'll leave us a messedge when it comes.
