Though I usually tend to peek at the these preview-type pages, this time I won't. Well, I already took a look, but I didn't enlarge them. I want to be surprised, even though the pages look entirely too multicolored already. If that colorist botches up this issue like he did the last one, I'm gonna send him a big 'ol batch of Kryptonite! All in all, I want to respect these last two issues of Superman Adventures just as much as it's respected me as a fan and consumer. Many of it's issues were well worth the cover price! This cancellation is a travesty, and very hard for me to bear as I don't just fall for any old comics. I am only faithful to the special ones. Superman Adventures will always hold a dear place in my heart.

Prepare to be dissapointed as the colorist is the same colorist it's always been, and the style is the exact same. I didn't expect the colorist to change the style for the final episodes - I just wanted a good colorist to begin with. Still - the story sounds promising.

When was this book cancelled?

Months ago, mon ami! I do believe the great reporters here at Toonzone saw it coming months before it was even officially announced!

Let's all take a moment to thank Superman Adventures and all the wonderful people who worked on it for all the great stories it has given us.

We reported back in June the book was cancelled. Why so early? Becuase in this title, issues are done close to a year in advance. And when DC stopped ordering new stories almost a year ago, that was a sign that the book was over. Real shame, too. For over 3 years, the book was almost consistently great. When the last regular writer left, the magic sorta creeped out, too.

I'm gonna miss this series. It was bad when the animated series ended but at least we had the comic to fall back on. Now we don't have either one. At least Batman is still going strong and we still got JL as well. Is it possible to post images from this last issue of Superman adventures? I would like to see if Darkseid and Superman go toe to toe since I'll be away at Oregon State when it comes out(3rd year of college, almost finished!).

We won't be able to post images from the next issue until the week before, like what we did with this issue. There's a bunch of legal stuff when it comes to this kind of thing and we don't wanna break any!
