We are 24 hours out from Survivor Series (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=155377) which saw John Cena keep his WWE Championship away from Kurt Angle for another month. RAW did not fair well overall in the event. Women's Champion Trish Stratus kept her title away from SmackDown! Diva Melina, but General Manager Eric Bischoff lost to SD! GM Teddy Long and Team RAW lost to Team SmackDown! when Randy Orton took done Shawn Michaels in the final fall. Bischoff is not happy and may take it out on the entire roster tonight!

Survivor Series fallout
November 28, 2005
The fallout from Survivor Series will be sorted out when RAW rolls into Cleveland tonight. RAW General manager Eric Bischoff will hold an all-talent meeting in the middle of the ring tonight at 9/8 CT. Tune in to find out what the GM has to say to the entire RAW roster.
Plus, last night Carlito and Shawn Michaels were teammates. Tonight things will be much different when they square off in the ring in one-on-one action.
And at Survivor Series, SmackDown referee Charles Robinson counted the pinfall as John Cena overcame Kurt Angle and his personal referee Daivari to retain the WWE Championship in a wild finish. Will the Olympic Gold Medalist have anything to say about Cena’s victory?
Tune into RAW tonight at 9/8 CT on the USA Network for all this and much more.

I like how Vince is a big-time face all of a sudden.
At least there's some continuity with Vince and Shane being pals and all. After Homecoming.

What's up with the lag man? Techinal Difficulties are no fun.
Huh? What happened to HBK? WHY DOES THE EXCITING STUFF HAPPEN WHEN I LOOK AWAY FOR 3 SECONDS?!

The HBK/Carlito match was a nice opener. It proved that with the right motivation and dance partner, Carlito has it in him to really be cool in that ring. Shane really sold his knee well in the match, I hope it isn't a legit injury.
Oh hooray, Angle VS Maria. What a classic in the making. My god, I love Kurt Angle. Did you see that look on his face as he was holding Maria, it went from nice to naughty in a matter of seconds, priceless!! :D So who thinks that Cena loses the title tonight to Angle but Bischoff gets fired anyway.
The womens match was a mixed bag. When Mickie and Victora were working, the match was good, when the models were working, not so good. I did like the ending with Mickie using Trish's finisher to beat Victoria. I foresee a heel turn within the next two weeks.
Shane MaMahon is the man! I love how he put Eric in his place. And Kurt's veins are HUGE. I can honestly see them sticking out the back of his neck, very scary stuff.
And Shelton jobs on RAW again! What the hell has WWE come to? The fans love him but managment still insists on feeding him to low card guys like Murdoch all the freaking time! This is getting embaressing!
HOLY CRAP! Just when I think this show can't get any worse, something AWESOME happens! I loved that HHH/Big Show confrontation. Everything leading up to it (HHH's promo, Big Show's prior warning) bled of raw and real emotion. That was totally the moment of the night and you could tell the crowd was into it too. Nice job by both guys and hopefully this leads to a match at New Years Revolution.
Main event was OK, but is Vince not hearing the crowd? As far as I'm concerned they were ALL booing Cena right out of the building! Angle needed to go over here but, in typical WWE fashion, the belt stays on the weak ass Champion. And good for Cena, after two and a half years in this business, he now knows an amazing SIX wrestling moves! Count 'em six!

Man, how desperate is WWE to get us to hate Angle? This match is so freakin predictable. Cena will save Maria from a beatdown and supposedly gain more fans. Get a hint and turn Cena heel!
Oh god, please do not let Masters win the title:eek:
Kasumi
11-28-2005, 09:58 PM
Bet: Cena will learn/steal a submission by the end of the night OR one of the McMahons will step in. If they go with (A) then Cena will have not 5 but 6 MOVES in his arsenal :p
If Chris Masters wins the WWE Champion, I will never watch RAW again.
If Eric Bischoff is fired, I will be dissappointed
And if Kurt Angle wins the WWE Title....Praise the lord.

I actually could see that happening. Cena passes out Just like Austin did against Bret Hart therefore Cena didn't tap out to lose his title. So Bischoff gets fired.

Kurt Angle is scary to watch these days. His veins are going to pop one day. :(
There were way too many teenage girls to deflect any negative heat towards Cena. :(
Ashley got no reaction. That was scary silence. Good to see Torrie back.

I see this as being the most likely.
Because you KNOW that Referee ... (Dang it, what's his name? I keep wanting to say "Dan Patrick")is gonna want some payback against Daivari.
So how is (Dan?) Patrick going to come into play in that match? Make your predictions now.

Wow. Who did Shelton Benjamin piss off? And what was this match doing on RAW, anyways? With the way those two've been pushed, this'd belong on HeAT.

I actually could see that happening. Cena passes out Just like Austin did against Bret Hart therefore Cena didn't tap out to lose his title. So Bischoff gets fired. If that scenario plays out, then the Masterpiece would become the Champ instead of Kurt Angle. Either way, even if Cena manages to pull a submission move out of his ass, Bischoff probably has 1/3 of a chance of keeping his job.
I smell a screwjob. We have 40 minutes for Our Heat Match on RAW to Finish [Shelton/Murdoch]...... Kane/Show vs. Snitsky/Tomko [Where the ring will collapse from weight] even though this could be a squash, but you'd think WWE would try to make the challengers look good, The Cutting Edge....AND the Title Match.
Edit: They jobbed Shelton to.....TREVOR MURDOCH!?!?!!?! Hey Shelton, TNA is looking pretty good right now, isn't it?
TheEvilClown

Actually there is one thing people are forgetting this is a triple threat match which means Cena doesn't have to tap to Lose the title. I mean ANgle or Masters could make each other Tap and they could win the Title if that where the case and IMO I think that is what is going to happen then We may be looking at a New GM at the end of the Night.

On Unlimited, Murdoch said he was going for the IC Champion. If he does face Flair and beat him, that would be a horrible way to lose your last championship.
And isnt his Edge's segment?

So cool. I love whenever the Big Show gets a push as a face... I mean, considering his monsterous size, he doesn't get pushes as much as I think he should.

I mean, considering his monsterous size, he doesn't get pushes as much as I think he should.Yeah, but I noticed the SD vs. RAW is really hurting his face character. I mean, tommorow he's going to dismantle Rey Rey, which will be very heelish. RAW were the heels, so it's going to take an adjustment period to keep everybody liked. And I guess keeping HHH from the microphone helps :).

And Cade/Murdoch are no longer a tag-team. Perhaps this lead to mild success for Murdoch.
Main event was so-so. Interesting that Cena got more boos and Cena sucks chants. The announcers can't mention that because Styles got chewed out by Vince for mentioning the boos last month.

Okay, this is how it is for me: I work from 9-10:30, so I usually miss most of RAW, but I usually get to see the beginning and then various other parts I can pop in for (I put it on the classroom projectors while I'm cleaning stuff). Tonight I was especially busy so I only saw the beginning. But I started thinking to myself, "Imagine if this turns into another thing where Bischoff is determined to screw John Cena out of the title?"
Wow.
But if Bischoff is off TV, then I'm happy.
But I won't be naive enough to rejoice just yet.

Bischoff did accomplish his goal of stopping Maria from asking stupid questions, so he could always bring that up next week.
This week's Raw was, for the most part, terrible. The last hour was horribly rushed and makes me fear the future. Cena as the indestructable champ, Murdoch being put over Benjamin, Masters appearing on TV completely cancels out any decent parts (the "Will Bischoff get fired?" angle, HBK-Carlito, Show-HHH promo) and subtracts a lot more. Tonight proved that Smackdown is, without question, the better of the two brands and I wish Spike TV would get off their butts and make a two-hour weekly so I could love televised pro wrestling again.

On Unlimited, Murdoch said he was going for the IC Champion. If he does face Flair and beat him, that would be a horrible way to lose your last championship."I learned the craft from guys like Dick Murdoch, Harley Race, the Funks. I'm trying now to give something back and the young guys today enjoy wrestling with me." - Ric Flair
Notice Murdoch is the first person Flair names. I gotta think Flair would consider it a fitting way to go out- his last singles title becoming the first (major) singles title of his mentor's son.
But why did the break up Murdoch and Cade? I'm of mixed feelings of this push for Murdoch... I'm glad he's not being shunted back to OVW- there's a place for guys like him on the roster. But at the same time, I'd like to see him do a little time on Heat while some of the guys that have paid their dues get more television time.
I guess being the son of Dirty Dick Murdoch can be a big advantage when you have guys like Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Ted Dibiase, and Ricky Steamboat backstage.
As a side note, I discovered that WWE.com's superstars pages list the wrestlers finishing moves. The claim that Carlito's is a modified swinging neckbreaker. Who knew?
Carlito was just dropped a rung. Any upper midcarder should've been able to beat Shawn Michaels in that condition.

God I could have sworn Angle would win the title tonight but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Let the chump win again!
By the way, on wwe.com they have posted a news article about Ric Flair; a warrant for arrest! http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/warrantflair:shrug:

In 2003, when Eric Bischoff told Mr. McMahon that no one could replace him and Shane McMahon quietly stepped out fo the limo and looked Eric in the eye, that was cool. This time, I was 95% sure we were going to see Shane-O-Mac with Stephanie having 3% and Foley having 2%. And it just wasn’t as cool. Maybe it’s the way Shane jumps around, I don’t know.
I suppose it should be viewed more as a testiment to the athletic ability of Shawn Michaels and his iron will, but I thought it made Carlito look pathetic that he couldn’t beat a guy with one leg. For as high on the card as he his, there are few guys that look as weak on regular basis as Carlito Caribbean Cool.
The Last Man Standing Match looked intense!! I cringed just watching the stills. They could easily sell some Flair injuries if he has to “take some time off.” I want to see a classic 8-man, one-night tournament on RAW for his belt too.
Well “sweet little Maria” didn’t have to be in there too long with the Kurt. The Angle Slam was more than enough though. I watched something this weekend (I can’t remember what now) that had Terri Runnels interviewing someone and I actually missed that. Monday Night Football has the female sideline reporter to add some diversity of sorts to the announce team. I’d kind of like WWE’s version to not be quite such a parody.
And Torrie Wilson returns to RAW exactly how she left it. I suppose that was the best way to bring her back into the fold, but it was just kind of funny to me. Mickie takes her obsession one step further by using Trish’s move to win and then showed off with her belt.
 Wow, Shane did not take kindly to what Bischoff had to say. I don’t think Eric saw that one coming. Shane had an ‘in’ but he did have to work to get where he is and didn’t care much for Bischoff implying otherwise.
Masters made a good move getting Daivari removed from the WWE Title match. The kid showed his smarts by going straight to Vinnie Mac.
Trevor Murdoch’s RAW appearance prompts several questions. 1) Despite what Styles said, when did they ‘move’ him & Cade from Texas to Tennessee? 2) Why on Earth did they apparently split Cade & Murdoch? They are hard up for good tag teams, not medicore singles wrestlers. 3) What is he doing beating Shelton Benjamin? 4) On Unlimited Murdoch said he wanted the Intercontinental Championship?!! If he is who they see as a future I-C Champ then I must know why they decided against Viscera because he seems like a better candidate to me.
Ohmygod! The Big Show SLAPPED that microphone out of Triple H’s hand!!! It’s been a long time since the giant has been this enraged and I would hate to be H3.
It seemed a bit early to me for Tomko & Snitsky to be in the ring with Tag Team Champions, but the division doesn’t get taken very seriously as we all lament. I’m hopeful that the squash was only due to time constraints.
I thought we had a shot at WWE making it look like Cena had it with the win at the PPV and then a loss the next night, but then they “stacked the deck” again. WWE is making all the same mistakes with Cena that they did with The Rock. They took a cool heel and used his crowd reaction to make him a face and he evolved into a cartoon version of everything that made him cool in the first place. Now he’s been champion too long, half (or more) of his fans hate what he’s become and the reaction when he loses the Championship is going to be one of joy no matter who he loses to.
“Take out the trash?” Hmm, last time Bischoff was going to be fired and replaced by Shane he really didn’t have to try very hard to get out of it (brought back Stone Cold). I’m not betting against Eric just yet.
Because you KNOW that Referee ... (Dang it, what's his name? I keep wanting to say "Dan Patrick")is gonna want some payback against Daivari.
So how is (Dan?) Patrick going to come into play in that match? Make your predictions now. :evil:Chad Patton is the name if the referee Daivari roughed up. He was the same one Jericho beat on this summer. Nick Patrick is the senior referee on SmackDown! (also was WCW's senior ref) and Dan Patrick is on ESPN.
According to this bio (http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/Bios/murdoch_trevor.html), he is of no relation to Dick Murdoch.I'm goin' with that. If Trevor was actually Dick Murdoch's kid that would be hyped by at least Jim Ross and that has never been said. He's just got the name as most likely an honorary thing. Dusty probably thinks he's Dick's kid though. If you will.

I’m not betting against Eric just yet. That phrase alone makes me kind of optimistic about what will be going down next week, and I have a feeling that Bischoff might not be the "trash" that the McMahons were talking about, even though he did fail in accomplishing his goal to make Cena tap out.

I've already ranted enough on these forums about the frigging idiot writers who are jobbing Shelton Benjamin out to everyone. Honestly, it's ridiculous. Guys who put in the hard work and get better and better in the ring are supposed to keep elevating, not be demoted.....
"Cena Sucks" = A ticking time bomb. They're going to have to stop this Cena nonsense whether Vince wants to or not. I agree with Penguin, they're making the exact same mistakes with him as they did The Rock back in 2000-2002. Rock was the face in his WWE title match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2002, but people cheered their asses off when Brock killed him. Why? Because that "The Rock is outnumbered but somehow wins his 907th straight match!!!" crap was stale as last year's bread.
Damn. When Triple H did his "there's no man..." rant, I was really hoping for the opening rif to Rob Van Dam's music. It's just been so damn long since I've seen him, and I love his chemistry with Triple H. I just hope that should they fued again, Rob isn't jobbed out. I like Big Show and all, but he's pretty boring, as are most RAW superstars not named Van Dam, Angle, Benjamin, or Conway.
While typing this, I just remembered - Shelton Benjamin is also the holder of an 8 month Intercontinental Title reign - again I ask why the hell is he jobbing?
Tomko + Snitsky = top of the list of the next roster cuts. (Probably alongside Shelton Benjamin :p)
Kurt Angle rules, and deserves one more gold medal - this one for being willing to be held back in order to elevate Marky Mark.
Man, overall, this show is just boring now. Trading Benoit and Orton to SmackDown! was idiocy. Now that I think about it, how many damn times has Benoit gone back and forth? He's got to be the record holder. He was drafted to SmackDown! in the initial draft while out with injury. Came back from injury on the RAW brand, with no apparent excuse. Got traded to SmackDown with Eddie Guerrero, then came back to RAW after winning the 2004 Royal Rumble, then finds himself back on SmackDown! after this year's draft. Sheesh.

Vince saying "taking out the trash" just doesnt say to me "Eric, you're gone next week on Raw" .Bischoff will either get Shane as an assistant GM ... become an assistant GM ..... or Cena was just put on the "McMahon Naughty List" for reason unknown.
And with the Big Show v. Rey Rey :D i'm guessing they'll do something like Rey did in WCW where he was on these winning streaks of beating guys twice his size (Kevin Nash and um ... the other one was ... oh what's his name?? Oh yeah, the Giant!) Or Hunter will be on Smackdown to give a "helping hand". Because i havent seen a guy yet who has talked to HHH like that w/o paying for it.
Shelton needs take the Christain way to TNA, they're giving him crap matches now
*and about the Cena thing, he'll probably loose it at New Years Revolution. News on the wrestling sites are confirming the Elimination Chamber will be there. So there ya go

In my opinion, Sleazy E (Eric Bischoff) has long past worn out his welcome on Raw. He's been GM nearly 3 1/2 years, so it's time for a change. What worries me, however, is whether or not they'll swerve and have Vince & Shane suddenly side with Eric and try screwing John Cena themselves. I hope not.
Trevor Murdoch is NOT related to the late Dick Murdoch. He had been going by Trevor Rhodes before, but had to change the name in deference to Dusty. Wasted opportunity there, as they could've passed Trevor the Cable Guy off as Dusty's nephew or something. Trev previously was known as Stan Dupp in ECW and an earlier, truncated tryout with WWF/E 5 years ago.
Leave it to Eric to put Angle in with bubbleheaded Maria. Typical mismatch crap booking. Meanwhile, Cena blew the STF, because it's similar in design to Chris Benoit's crossface. STF stands for Stepover Toehold-Facelock. Cena had a headlock on Chris Masters, and Masters tapped. Oy!
Hopefully, they can have Daivari wrestle, and not just a ref like Chad Patten. Enough of this self-serving heel ref BS.
Nice to see Torrie Wilson back from "vacation", but will someone tell her that carrying her poodle to ringside is already so 5 minutes ago?
People love to see Shane do his shuffle dance, which makes Orlando Jordan look more like an amateur. Shane could probably breakdance on top of it. Gotta wonder about the grey hair, though.....
Edge was supposed to do his new talk show, but I guess he realized once King Ego (HHH) started talking, "Cutting Edge" would get cancelled for being boring.
When is Lita going to wrestle?
Can we have Shane vs. Eric & Coach in a handicap cheap sauce match?:D ;) :)
